Raya looks good! I am hoping it is! Gonna see if we can't watch it as well <3

I watched Raya the other day, but I'll be honest, it wasn't great 😅 Very cringe dialogue. I kid you not, you've got lines like "What's dripping?" and "Hey there, princess undercut" 😂

Really that's the parts you found cringe?
Not the diaper? Or the toot toot boom bugs?

All in all. I liked it.
It's definitely aimed at gen Z.

I might have blanked out due to sheer cringe because thankfully I can't remember the toot toot boom bugs  But I agree, I liked it too. Just not for me, especially as someone who loooves dragons, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I saw you watched Moana too! Now that I enjoyed thoroughly. Seen it about 3 times! The Tamatoa crab dude is awesome.

Moana was really good! I did enjoy it a lot.
Sinbad just made it back to my queue!
I loved that movie a LOT! And I wonder how it'll hold up

I watched Wolfwalkers yesterday, it was great. Highly recommended.

I also recommend this shorter video. Probably not too much new info for some but put together nicely.

Over lunch, I watched The Gods Must Be Crazy. It's a strange one but still pretty funny.

And today, G-Force. I don't remember watching it before and it was a lot better and way more fun than I expected. Kinda surprised I've not heard more about it.

I got back from watching The King's Man today. I was actually a bit disappointed. The first two films were amazing. This one... just okay. It didn't have the same amount of style or humour. There were cool bits but harder to get into. Possibly because it was set in WWI whereas the others were modern stories. Much harder to suspend disbelief when they're killing Rasputin and influencing wartime politics. Another contrast is both previous films had a clear and charismatic villain. This one had some minor villains and then the main villain was supposed to be a surprise so wasn't revealed until the final confrontation. Just felt kinda empty plot wise.

I watched The House on Netflix and am literally MIND BLOWN - especially from Part 1! I absolutely loved the Stanley Kubrick inspiration. Haven't grinned from ear-to-ear while watching a movie since The Shining or Midsommar. 10/10 😁

I started watching the X-Files.
I've watched old series before that hasn't aged well.
The X-Files is nothing like that. It's just genuinely good.
I honestly don't know why I haven't watched it yet.

Also read today that The Expanse is canceled.
NoVa and I have been enjoying watching that.
Also they ended it with loose ends which is bullshit.
Still though. Amazing series. I plan on buying the books.

I'm halfway through watching the original series of Naruto. Saw episodes years ago on tv but never caught all of it. Enjoying it quite a lot tbh. Though I've found I mostly enjoy the comedic and normal life episodes way more than the serious main story fights.
