I just picked up Waterways by Kyell Gold. I've only just started it so I don't have much of an opinion on it yet but it seems all right so far.

It's so odd. I picked that one up in the hospital this year as well XD

I recently finished The Silent Patient and The Man Who Spoke Snakish. Both very different and equally as good! I'm now a few chapters into Where The Crawdads Sing, but I'm not digging it too much as of yet.

I tried getting through them a few years ago, but just couldn't make my way through The Order of the Phoenix without struggling to stay awake 🥱 That's where I stopped, although I'd love to get back into them again. Such an immersive world.

I'm about half way through the Chamber of Secrets now.
I'm loving it! Though... I wouldn't say the writing a THAT good.

I think Contrast could write circles around JK Rowling.
I haven't finished Ander yet! :?

Ander is amazing. I need to finish it myself, I've been hoping for a physical release.
Have you still not had any luck finding a publisher, Contrast?

Nope, not yet. In the time I've been struggling I've actually managed to finish two whole new manuscripts. When I'm done with the final draft of the last one, I'm gonna print out all three and send them to some South African publishers together. I wrote a human version of Ander for this because I can't get the anthro version accepted anywhere, no matter how hard I try. If Ander gets refused again, I'm officially out of ideas. I guess I'll just put it back on the internet for people to read for free, in that case.

Yeah, I have. All of them rejected me. Some of them aren't accepting any new manuscripts, some say it's too long, others just gave me a general rejection letter without saying why. Some just never got back to me at all.

Do you have Telegram, Contrast?
I have had some contact with a fairly well-known writer in the fandom, Tempe O'Kun. If you'd like, I could get him in touch with you. I'm sure he might have some good suggestions on how to proceed.

I finished the series now. They were amazing!

I just finished How To by Randal Munroe.
Awesome book!

Next is going to be Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey.
I watched the series and enjoyed every second of it! I would very much like to read the books too.

My company is making me read child phycology and general diagnosis for young students. (Sourced form the universities in Bangkok)
Took me 1.5 years so far.

It really shocked me.
It really made me angry at my family and South Africa.
Things make more cense now.
I wish the papers had recommended treatments and suggestions.

Good luck on your Exam!

I've started on Witch Hat Atelier, and it's so cool.
I found it while looking for spell glyphs and runes and stuff to make a spellbook prop with.

Witch Hat is so good! Did you know it's getting an anime?
Personally I kinda think the Brimhats have a point, though.

Do audio books count? If so then I'm currently listening to Lives of the Monster Dogs by Kirsten Bakis. If not then I'm also making my way through Persians: The Age of the Great Kings by Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones.

I did! Very excited for that. Tragically I'm still not done reading it, got distracted by other stuff and just haven't been in the right space to keep reading, so I don't know about the brimhats' point yet.

When I'm afk I'm reading Dragonlance: The Second Generation at the moment. Really enjoying it so far, about halfway through. My second Dragonlance book I've read, the first being Brothers Majere. Reading random material in such a very large series makes the order of events a bit confusing (also read 3 comics), but it's quite good imo.

I have been reading an enigma of a book, House of Leaves and boy is it good. I'm constantly re-reading the book and making new connections, I highly suggest it.

(it will give you a headache though) {there are also numerous scenes of sexual intercourse so read at you own risk/pleasure}

I'm about to start reading Poor Things as I've watched the movie twice. Although the plot of the novel and the movie diverge quite a bit.
