Tips for making ears?

So my suit has been brought to a halt for a long time now and I'm starting to look into how to make the ears better.
Anyone have any links to tutorials or step by step images to maybe help?

I based some of my ears of designs I saw on places like Dreamvisionscreations website

Except I took the design and made my own freehand copy of it, will post pics a bit later in a thread of a WIP suit of the ears I made
Most of the time it's just freehanding and improvising
