Furry Footware
A friend of my mother is considering a career in making South African merchandise.
She is bribing me to do some marketing and consumer feedback.
I told her that I do not accept bribes, but I can't say no to a gift.
[Really difficult for me to stay professional and not plaster the whole screen with I love them so much]
What do you guys think?

Ooh that's cool!
Though the right foot may look a bit strange when it's cut out. With the one eye essentially half cropped.
Do you think she'd consider printing custom slops?

Also had that thought about the right foot, but the contour going towards the ear lessens this (the pic now appears to be more side-on and you don't expect to see the eye). So glad it worked out that way.
I will have to ask her. She will have to look in her photo's or you will have to supply one that could work. The shoe sizes are also not that straightforward.
She knows people will love it or leave it so be prepared to be financially exploited.

Hmm, I see what you're saying ^w^
For shoe sizes can't you get, like a slip slop cookie cutter for the different sizes and scale the images per size?
My thinking is a unique selling point would be is selling customized slip slops. I'm sure there would be companies interested for say, team building events and such. I'm sure there'd be a good amount of individual interest. I mean I'd love to get slops with Taka art on them ^^,

Re: Furry Footware
I should have been more specific about the size. Because it's a printing company there's not the usual sizes. It's more like small, medium, large if I under stand her correctly.
Speaking of shirt sizes... The other merch possibly on its way is pillows, tote bags and T-shirts. She also does canvas printing of her nature photo's.
Here is a link to here Etsy shop page to give you an idea of here work.

As for you own stuff, you can try to find a printing place. I don't want to be the person cutting out the middle man (middle woman?).

Does it really matter with flip flops?TakaLion wrote:Ohhh, dem sizes might be an issue with footwear

Besides. I always wear my shoes a size too large... I HATE tight things...
If it isn't loose, it isn't on me...(You people with dirty minds know what I meant!)
Personally, I don't wear sandals... But they look AWESOME none the less!

@TakaLion
Glad you like some of her work. She knows about and has the commitment it take to be wildlife photographer (waking up early and being patient).

Here is a prototype of the tote bags (I helped choosing the picture).
There is still a long way to go, the printing finish feels strange, the bag is a bit narrow and we plan to use webbing for the straps to make the bag less labor intensive.
