any advice please?

Hi everyone. I've been making a few tails and so on but I've never tried making a head. Anyone have advice on making a semi realistic wolf head? How do I get the jaw to move and what should I use for the eyes? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the read.

Ask Yote he has done a few heads already.

Google is your friend! :) There are plenty of websites dedicated to providing tutorials and such for fursuit makers. I designed my own eyes because I wanted taxidermy style eyes that you could see through, but they're still a prototype. A moving jaw can be as simple as two pieces of elastic, or as complex as a hinged inner "skeleton". There is no right or wrong way, just try something and if it doesn't work try something else.

Anyone know where I can get hold of faux fur? We got 7 or 8 fabric shops and none of them stock it

I think you might have to order it online. You would probably have more luck if you were in Gauteng or the Western Cape.

EDIT: Fixed "Western Cap" typo.

was in the western cap once... wasn't nearly as fun as the east cap or the night cap, but much more fun than the governmental allowance cap...
