ZA Furries

Yes I couldn't think of a more original title.. so shut up..

Ok so I haven't been very active here for a while. I'm really sorry about that. Those of you who know me know that I am not good with words and general social interactions. ^^"
I would love to be more active around the forums but the truth is I actually have no idea what to post... So here you go.. have some of my terrible art.

I'll try post more later on. (If they aren't too horrible) XD

Horrible? Pffft, I do believe you are sorely underestimating your art ability, Silver. I love each one of these pictures. My personal favourite of these five, however (and it was a difficult choice!), would be the second one: with your fursona clutching a cute little critter (almost said "plushie" ); it looks both serene and utterly adorable. Please, Silver, keep posting these! I would love to see more from you!

I kinda love that one too, it turned out looking so cute. That is actually supposed to be Ori Silver is hugging.. I drew it in the hype of hearing there was going to be a squeal to Ori and the blind forest. XD

My personal favourite is the last one. The patterning on the dragon is really striking and I like the stance/balance of the dragon as well.

I am looking forward to seeing more from you. What I can tell from these pictures is that you aren't afraid to try things. So keep drawing weird things & interesting poses - they won't always work out, but you'll learn a lot more that way than playing it safe!

Yup I do love trying some strange things. It makes it more fun to draw. I'm not too good with poses so I wanted to try one a bit different from what I usually draw with that one. I'm surprised it turned out so well.

Oh Most of these characters are actually mine (all except for the first one.) I kinda forgot to mention that. Oops sorry guys..

I randomly realised that I really like the coloured backgrounds. You have a good eye for pastel-y colours that compliment your characters.

You have a good grasp of porportions. If I may suggest a bit of "homework" to improve your anatomy? Google some wolf/fox pics & try to copy them by eye. The first couple of dozen will look terrible but keep doing it! I personally like doing small bits & pieces like an entire page of noses or paws. This exercise helps you to build a "visual library" for when you draw without reference and will build your confidence in your skills.

haha I have been a bit lazy when it comes to studying anatomy.. I just draw whatever pops into my head. Things do turn out looking a bit weird sometimes. Thanks for the advice Sudan I will give that a try. ^^

Your latest art looks magnificent, Silver! Your dragons and dragon-pony hybrids are my favourite, and the 'furry trash' parody made me smile. There is something colourful and innocent about your artwork that I love. Please, keep up the wonderful work. I would love to see more.

The first one is a little older. It was a gift for a friend on his birthday. The next ones are more recent. The second one was also a gift for a friend on furry amino. The others are drawings of my other characters.

Still working on my anatomy but I'm improving with it.. slowly. XD
