I was going to go with Shortcircuit Being part Dragon my self I think that its a realy cool image . But I went with Who loves ya baby because it gave me a warm tinglie feeling . I wish that I could find love like that

Woooow. How did you get that lighting effect?

Oh, it's quite easily done in GIMP. I finished drawing half background (sky and mountains) and merged them down into one layer. Then I made a duplicate layer and on the duplicate I did a Supernova effect and a directional light.

The rays coming from the right were airbrushed in, and I erased a few lines inbetween to make it look like sunlight.

The "dusties" as I like to call them are also airbrushed in.

Then I set the layer to 70% opacity and voila!
