Is that its tongue? If so, that's a pretty weird angle.

That is not his tongue, it's part of his muzzle pattern.
That was not a stupid question because this pattern usually runs the whole length of his lips. But I chose to omit the darker lips to prevent his from looking like he has a dirty mouth.

P.S.
He also does not swear often.

Kept liking the fist picture the most.
There's just something about the angle, I don't know how to explain it.
So I quickly coloured it in and that's that.

Thanks.
In a vacation I will work on it some more.
But this is good enough to stop it from bugging me.

I love seeing pieces done by hand on paper. I don't do it anymore and miss it a bit.

I enjoy these, thank you.
If you take your marker and connect this dot to that one, that one to this one here you will get a really annoyed dalmatian.

The European Badger (meles meles) is known to have a rather large range of vocalisations, though it must be noted he often makes no sense at all.

That is an excellent question, and it has a "composite" answer, rather than a single direct one. The two foremost reasons are:
1) StargazingSerpent is an account name I generally tend to use, even on sites where 'Azure' is not my nickname (though these are very rare, as I go by that nickname very frequently). Hence, it is a general username. For example, I use it on DeviantArt and on FurAffinity. Hence, it creates consistency and allows my friends and acquaintances to identify me on each site.
2) Initially, I had anticipated that a name such as 'Azure' would have already been in use on a forum such as this (whether as a username or a nickname), with over 500 members. Evidently, as I scroll through the members list, I was wrong. However, that was my impression at the time of account registration.
