I love it. Is it an improvement? Have not seen much of your work so a bit hard to comment.
If you've done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear,
if you've something to hide you shouldn't be here.

Your shading has definitely improved a lot. I love the emotion in the purple dragon's eyes too.

Agreed with Lee. At work so I'm kinda scroll glimpsing at it but yeah, you're definitely getting there. I love it.

Looking awesome buds!
Most of the aspiring artists I know start off by doing a whole bunch of requests to hone their skills before they consider taking commissions. Like anything that's worth achieving, you've gotta put in hours and hours of practice.
You're definitely on the right track though (:
