Sooo...

I havent posted in forever. Mostly because I don't really get feedback and stuff so I've come to the irrational conclusion that people don't care/don't like my art... regardless of if they do or not, sadly I failed my psychic exam so I can't tell if someone does or doesn't without an actual physical response...

I've also decided I'm getting tired of Anthro art... which is unfortunately the one thing I'm good at. I've been roped in, quite willingly, by another fur to do art for a worthy cause later this year or whenever. So to avoid being this.. meh... about it when we get to that bridge I'm gonna be doing very little/no anthro artwork... art at all really till then.

So, as a parting gift have a sheep, which took me ten minutes using my mouse and the standard boring paint program 90% of PC's come with (because people seem to find mouse artwork fascinating nowadays)...

If i have offended anyone... c'est la vie.

If i haven't offended anyone... yay... I did something right for once :P

I like your art... and I really appreciate your offer of making an outline for me... even if that's not to be, I'll try to draw it myself I guess. No hard feelings. :)

I've been having an absolutely hectic time with university starting again and all sorts of random stuff all happening at the same time, hence lack of feedback on anything.

HOW DARE YOU! DISSING MOUSE ARTISTS LIKE THAT! We don’t choose to use mice! We are born that way! you… YOU… WOMAN!!! I’m like, so offended rite nyao! Grrr! and stuff!
Lol. Jk.
Seriously though I don’t think it’s a question of people finding it fascinating, it just takes a FUCKLOAD of time to do it properly and quality tends to be a direct result of effort… and insane attention span. <_< something I lack sadly. But anyways that combined with the stereotype of a person actually clicking and dragging all the line work makes people think mouse artists have insane FPS skills. Das all there is to it methinks.
As for the sparse feedback, I think it’s a question of you being too damn skilled. I mean jholy Jerusalem! look at that blood! THAT FUCKING BLOOD! It made me verb in my friggen pants! It’s normal to just assume you get all the feedback you could possibly want from your billions of followers on FA DA or whatever website you post on with skills like that.
<_< I mean FFS you are probably a lot younger than me yet you are a better artist. Too much green jelly for feedback IMO.

hehe, i know that feel bro. i once spent 3 weeks on a piece and when i posted it.... NUTANG.
but then i draw this really mediocre cream the rabbit from freaking sonic and boom! 3 new watchers and it gets 10 faves in a flash. O_o feedback can be a real hit and miss kind of thing so it’s better to just ask your buds for feedback. if you ever need constructive criticism or just someone to oogle something feel free to poke me with it. i may lack the BACKGROUND in art required to go around talking about it, but i've been looking at art far longer than i have been making it so i can at least provide a kind eye should you ever need it.

as for the age thing… well, that’s only mildly less depressing. I’m almost 30 years old and I have nothing to show for it U_U they called Adolf Hitler a FAILed artist but even he was better than me, O_o so wtf am I suppose to be then?

hey, from where i'm sitting you already seemed to have mastered the hardest parts (namely highlights and shade) the more you draw the quicker you'll get better at the other stuff too. O_o it’s like a level grinding in an rpg, just keep casting lots of low mana cost spells till you level up. so don't hide that talent of yours away sister! let them arts be free, show the world! if they dun like it, show them more! till they damnwell LEARN to like it!

When did we get a bump topic button!

anyway the point is

I'M BAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

And to commemorate this momentous occasion I took up a pen challenge from my dear friend Ky on DA...

so here it is!!!

punk.png
I'm gonna do a few more of these...
but this time.. I'm gonna charge you :o

that's right.. I know charge!!! like a bull :P

but legit.

I will do pen sketches like this of your sona for (wait for it)...

R15 a piece!

And i will happily do 10 in the next month!

I'll do them on nice paper, and if you live to far for me to get to you, i'll mail it to you or send it via pigeon because that's faster than the post office...

So why... why am i now charging???

Because all proceeds will be going to helping with the organising of our furrycon!!

and failing that it buys me dinner...

yay :P

I wanna start making custom clothes...

using sharpies!!!

so here's the WIP of the shoes I'm working on for me...

IMG-20150331-WA0046.jpg
I would most likely make Customs for people for about R200... I just have to find a good supplier of sneakers. I'd also make high tops and not... high... tops (whatever you call em)...

what do you guys think??

Looks pretty awesome! Although I imagine you'll charge different prices for different amounts of detail? I wonder though is it waster resistant?

according to the pens they are machine washable and wont come out... but I'm going to test that this evening...

I'd charge R200 flat rate... i'm not fussy on the amount of detail :)
