You become omniscient, meaning that you can see and hear everything happening in the universe all the time regardless of your state of consciousness. You quickly descend into severe madness and have to be institutionalized for the rest of your life.

Not meaning to pick on you but it'd be so much better to turn what he wishes for into the problem and not just something related. Imagine...

An telepathic alien race arrives and as a peace offering gives his computer an uninterruptible power supply. After time on Earth they realise how terrible we are and decide to blow up the planet with a controlled through the modified computer. There's no way to stop the advanced alien software, making switching off the computer the only way to break the countdown. Try as he might he finds it is truly uninterruptible and has no choice but to watch the numbers on the screen count down to our oblibion.

Just one I felt like sharing. ^^ Sometimes this thread is a lot of fun but I don't have many wishes I want corrupted.

The concepts and characters come more naturally and flow out of you like bad poetry.
Unfortunately as you become better at this you start to live exclusively in a fantasy world loosing all ability to communicate with those around you loosing all those you love. In addition you are drawn into your game only to discover it is still incomplete and are effectively trapped in limbo.

You get much better social skills and become much less sensitive to conversations gone wrong,

Over time the insensitivity grows until you feel no emotions, at all.

So you get mad beatboxing skills, but as a trade off you forget how to speak and now you can only beatbox, nothing else.

You get your free uncapped, but your speed maxes that of a long-forgotten dial-up connection, making it frustratingly difficult.

You get one, and so does every other player, making it meaningless as an item to brag about.

Low and behold you get a huge tank for the breeding purposes, however without specifying your rams to be fish, they transform into goat rams and break the tank while rutting.

I wish that there was an easier way to meet visa requirements.

All member countries of the UN come to an agreement to disband all visa's around the world allowing free movement and work in all countries.
Due to the high level of tertiary education in the 1st world applications to universities need to be submitted 5 years in advance with only the top 2.5'% of the worlds strongest student academics being allowed to continue further studies. In addition university costs rise by 30%.

Your clones, which have human intelligence, become resentful at having to live your life for you, wishing to live their own lives. Eventually, they turn on you; one calls your boss and gets you fired, one gets several dozen charges of jaywalking laid against you, and one joins the porn industry using your name.

I wish everyone in the world turned into anthros.

In the blink of an eye the entire world population turns into anthro characters with an animal matching their personality.
The immediate knock on effect is the world economies collapse trying to adapt technologies (something as simple as a keyboard) to their new forms but due to the great variety of anthros around the many permutations of adaptations in technology, sanitary services, (an elephant would have different bathroom requirements to a squirrel) and the like become too costly for most companies and governments to carry.
Also due to the inability for inter species breeding the earth population begins to decline with the planet being totally barren of all anthro life within 200years.

I wish could remember to add a wish to the end of my posts in this thread (had to edit when I remembered).

You add your deepest, darkest wishes to each posts. Wishing for filthy things that never should be known. Scarring everyone on the forum and leading to them all leaving.

Just me left. Silently judging you.

Your wish becomes a nightmare. All of them want a stable relationship and you become a complete gay guy magnet, they leave their boyfriends for you almost immediately. They blame you for you being so desirable.

I wish there was a way to stop time so I can take time to think about what to do next. (I know how I would corrupt this...)

You become addicted to the power and use it several times a day - and since you continue to age while time is frozen, you end up dying of old age before your parents.

but g'hey!
Lets break this.

You get raped! then send a text to the past self to warn yourself but since we now avoid causing a paradox you'll get raped no matter what you do and now must experience the horror with full knowlage of whats coming.

You get 10 day long weeks but it's bittersweet - Another three days of weekend are added, along with assorted public holidays for arbitrary things.

I wish they really would add another three days of weekend..

Because corrupting a time travel wish with paradoxes is lame. It's been done many times already...
snowdragon wrote: I wish they really would add another three days of weekend..
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are now considered weekend. But, as with Saturday, employers aren't forced to pay extra for work on weekends. And, for the sake of not failing, businesses are forced to make people work on weekends. Seeing as Saturday is now the same as Wednesday to Friday, they decide to make people work on Saturday as well. So congrats. You only have Sunday off

I wish I knew how to make that quote up there work ^

The closing tag should have a forward slash (/) instead of a back slash (\). However, it is now too late for you to edit it.

I wish getting motivated were easier.
