So, I was bored and decided to make a needlessly overly complicated species of fursona. This is what this thread is all about. Make a crazy species idea with an equally crazy name, and post it here

So to begin, we have...

THE FOLGON

Half folf, half tigon ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tigon )this character has the sandy, tawny brown colour of the lion, mixed with a wolf looking head, a fox tail ending in a white tail tip, black stripes and the large cats' retractable claws on the big feline styled paws.

Also called this particular one Renim Biseer: A mixture of the names Renauld, Simba, Bisclavret (look up ironclaw if you're having issues with that one) and Sheer Kahn

If I made it a Litigon, it'd be 1/8th tiger Whooooooooooooooo 3/8ths lion too

It's a Serval Fox cross. Fox face and tail, rest Serval.

OK, my mistake. This was made FOR Summercat/Summerotter, not BY them.

If I remember the history of this pic correctly (been a while), this was commissioned in the midst of one of the drama storms that sweeps the fandom, where people were unhappy about "their" ideas being stolen, so they started making fursonas that are unique, or with weird colourations, or various species. This was drawn in response to this whole issue. And also in response to the "sparkledog" thing. The intent is to go all the way down that slippery slope and see where it ends up, as social commentary.

I don't think it was ever named, but I can't find the original page for the art, so yeah.

An artist's version of "pin the tail on the donkey" - except there are an infinite number of tails, and we are not entirely sure if that is a donkey.
