So, since we're on the subject of Afrikaans, do a translation, without using Open/LibreOffice with Afrikaans menus, or a dictionary for me. Or Google Translate :P.

Wolfers wrote:So I have both a serious and a silly question, in an attempt to bring balance to this thread xD

Serious question: Should South Africa's next president be female? If you've been following developments in parliament, it seems that Baleka Mbete (Speaker of the House) is playing her cards right for this position.

Not so serious question: Is your face a question? Also, what is a Tonteldoos?
Baleka Mbete wouldn't necessarily be the best choice...but there are some good candidates.

Aside from seeing what it was I was gonna say that Tonteldoos would have been the little box you put your tonsils in after having them removed...(I know they'd be wet but logic doesn't dictate this answer.)
MontgomerySeven wrote: What about Helen Zille?
Well sometimes she seems to lead a house divided against itself. As good as the house is, she tends towards more reactionary rhetoric than moving forward in a positivist manner. I'd still rate her above most politicians but Maimane is also a very good choice for president...

If a woodchuck could chuck wood, would it consider the financial impact on ferret housing and tubing after we've named them our lord and master for its successful forced evolution? I'd believe they would make a pact with the wolves to ensure their servitude as bodyguards...

In short...maybe 10 logs of successfully chucked wood and a youtube channel

That is almost certain. Maybe one day a rift will open and we can share dna so to speak. Hell there might even be a planet within our reality with that.
SnowDragon wrote:Why are they so few girl-furries?
Well internationally I believe there are quite a few. I don't, however, know why not in SA. May be something to do with the internet culture. Or even gender roles. Variety of reasons there.

Do you categorize human intelligence as an evolutionary benefit or do you think we'll be the victims of our own creations?

If you had known what you know now, and given the above questions, would you still have created this thread if you could change the past?

If you do not change this thread, what one other thing would you have changed in the past?

If I may add my two cents, I believe it's mostly to do with Internet culture not appealing to the average female, and therefore by extension lack of exposure to / knowledge of the fandom. I do personally know a few female cosplayers though.

It is a benefit inasmuch as we use it correctly. The way things have gone we are already victims of our own creations.

I wouldn't change this thread. I like it. :P

I think the choices I've made have been tough but with the friends I've made along the way and the things I've learnt I don't have many regrets most days.

*salutes to the General Context of cucumbers* I would eat cucumber in a salad if that's what you mean. Don't know of any more 'adventurous' ways to eat them.

I was about seven and I sick with the flu and an overnight build-up of phlegm nearly had me bite the dust.

I was trying to find an apt mathematical curve that shows that things get worse before they get better then...I found this:
