the pointless thread

Come in, relax, play with your friends! You can find something for everybody here. You can even find threads with no particular point at all, other than a good time! You can even start up some role playing.

Maybe someone in the background going "More DOTS"

Wrong game. The movie is going to be based on "Warcraft" the RTS (first one, I believe), not "World of Warcraft" the MMO.

I know it's the same universe, but my point remains valid. The name of the movie is not "World of Warcraft", it's "Warcraft: The Beginning", which makes it a "Warcraft movie" and not a "World of Warcraft" movie.

I, oddly enough, enjoy being the person to take someone's initial step and elaborate on it. Sometimes even my own after a few seconds thought on it. That's kinda how Mitania Welos the Jedi Pegasister was born.

Ah, come on. I'm only teasing anyway. Joshin around about Warcraft is a far sight better than the drama and silly fights that come out here sometimes. :P

tfw you're stuck with a decision of: being a descriptivist and letting horrible grammar exist, for being a perscriptivist and let them sound like a fish in a beef farm. >_<

My German buddy and I have had this conversation a few times; I fall entirely into the latter category, he's somewhere in the middle. The English language can be abused, but only under the condition that you understand exactly what you're doing to it.

Also, I have not a clue what that last line means. Does it mean that actually using the language properly will make them stand out like a sore thumb?

Guys I have a theory.
If four 25cents make up a Rand and two 50sents make up a rand and the square root of the holy tomato is 92 then that must mean that Lincoln was shot in the back of the Ford theatre and that connects Clouds to area 51! [Edit: also illuminati in the somewhere but i am still waiting for the microwave to confirm this]

Well son. Engineered systems are composed of subsystems and related components that interact with each other to produce a desired system response or behavior.

Dear universe- why does cronyism exist?

Well dear creature it's because George Orwell was right when he wrote Animal Farm!

Certain species are more equal than others my dear creature.
Consider the empirical value of a Pokemon- he wanks very highly as Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse would say.

It's the first law of the universe- step 1 make other creatures fear you. Step 2 rule them all by threat
