Simply put, what would you do with 150k that you had to spend on yourself?

Probably use it to travel and build the most awesome computer ever. Use whatever's left over for some fancy stuff. Hard to think up stuff on the spot.

I'd get me a Alienware M18x laptop, I like to be mobile so a laptop makes sense to me, and they are kinda good for gaming I believe .
I've also always kinda wanted a fur suit But no idea what it would cost so this would be subject to cost and availability
And then just because I do still drive race cars from time to time some new kit would also be on the shopping list, along with a decent Helmet and Hans combination.
Whats left over would be spent on a few other toys and a holiday.

I'd get me a new motherboard + I7 CPU and grab me two DD3 4GB and run them in Duel channel. Then I'd get a second 4870HD and run it in Crossfire with my current. And grab me a nice large screen for using exclusively at home, a new sound card specifically for my 5.1 surround sound. AND A NEW CHAIR. So I can play games in even more comfort than I currently am.

Oh and maybe two 2GB HDDs, a 160GB SSD just for my OS and a 2GB External for moving about.

Then a decent laptop for when I wanna get out and I'm not keen for packing up my PC. Probably a Nexus S since my cell is rather old tech. Depending on how much money I have left I'll upgrade my mouse to a Roccat Cone and store my Razer away for incase my new mouse ever dies. And get myself which ever new Logitech G-whatever is currently out at the time

Hmm... And decent uncapped 4mb internet plox 8D

Maybe I'll have enough cash to afford that for a few years :3

I would upgrade my pc to latest greatest spec, get 2 (or more) giant-screen tvs (hd, of course) which I'd hook up to the uber-pc for dual-screening my fps games, have a sofa-and-stand-with-swinging-tray,-cup-holders,-ample-cd-storage-and-massage-function custom made for UBER-COMFORT-OF-EXTREMENESS custom built for the uber-pc, and the rest would go straight to new games I've always wanted. oh and ample art supplies.

I would pay my dad back, my mom back,my gran back.... buy my sister her fave guitar and my step sister a new brain.... I'd give some of it to my one friend and use the rest to spoil my horse..... and then if their was enough left over I'd take everyone to KFC for lunch and give the rest to that feed a hungry kid thing.... JUST CUZ I CAN!!!!

if i was being my normal self id buy shares (how boring ;P)

but if i had to spend it i would upgrade my pc (seems to be top priority for everyone )

then go to Thailand for a scuba diving holiday(prob get uber fat from all the food i love there >.<)

anything after that would go to buying warhammer models just for the hell of it

been eying this one for a while now (lets just say he is a little pricey )

I would quit my current job, move everything Ive got into storidge, cancel any other monthly payments Ive got.
Then get a six month visa to the USA, and volunteer for the Geek Group as long as I possible could before the money runs out renew the visa if possible.

In the hopes of ether opening up a hacker space in South Africa, or get a permanent position there, I like what they stand for.

What is the geek group?
