heh, you forget the dual purpose of things

the LCD doubles as my XBox 360 Screen

the speakers are plugged optically into my 360 and analogue into my Wii

i'm looking to get a box to let me plug the Wii into the LCD as well, which would remove the need for a TV, since it's kinda crap anyways and i don't watch it (and i don't have a TV antenna)

I have audial expmples of the X-Fi failing to play certain songs, it's pretty funny, tho it's annoying as hell ... go go crystalizer + Smart Volume Management stuffups ... it basically fades the song to nothing, then fades it back up again

considering the card is prolly the only thing i'd keep (and the hdds) the answer is NO dragon, even for that

Well, if you're going to mention all PCs, i've also got a Linux box, P4, dunno the spec really

Got an iMac G3 that's got a stuffed CD Drvie that needs linux on it

Got 3 identical machines (both PII MMX jobs) i want to turn into a single linux cluster, but that takes time and effort both which i can't seem to find.

Biggest machine i've worked on is my dad's newest server, 5x500GB drives in a RAID 5 set, 4 GB of DDR2-800 RAM, 3.0 GHz 45nm Core2Duo, so that's like 1x 2TB partition (approximately) with redundency really sweet machine, got intel GMA graphics on it, so it's kinda useless as a gaming machine.

Heya! my system is kinda mid-range. I have an:

AMD 5000+ at 2,9ghz on a
Asus m3a m/Board
2gb DDR800 RAM
160gb hard drive and a
8800gt from chaintech.

my cpu does get alittle hot given that im using standard cooling, but she does run prime95 stable for about 2hours. I'll be looking into a better case and a nice copper cooler in the new year, once the dust has settled, then hopefully i'll be able to get abit more out of it. Also, my GPU isnt being properly recognised (for some reason i cant overclock it. Lol!), but it runs on default.

Good lord, thats one hell of a system. Some nice SLI power there too.

PSU to run those bad boys? When ya getting the SSD? :D

Oh, and I think with such an intense system, I dont think that Readyboost would be helping much :P Unless you've noticed a difference and all.

I've got a 1200 PSU in it right now...we'll see what the future brings. As for the readyboost...I had an extra flashdrive that was sitting around doing nothing, so I figured what the hell! I haven't noticed any difference, but I didn't really expect to either. ^.^
