Hi guys!

I am going to attempt to build a gaming computer. Now, I have sourced some hardware(and software) that I could possibly use. If you anyone has a better idea or better ,cheaper component choices for me, don't be afraid to shout. :)

Here is my list so far:

Motherboard: Asus PH861-M LX IH61 Motherboard w/A8 + G + LK + SATA3
Memory: Kingston DDR3-1333 2GB Memory Module
Hard Drive: Seagate 500GB Barracuda SATA6 16MB 7200RPM Hard Drive
Processor: Intel Core i5 2320 3.0GHz LGA1155 Processor - 3.3GHz TB
PSU: Gigabyte Superb E620 Power Supply - 620W
Graphics Card: MSI N550GTX-Ti-MD1GD5 GeForce GTX550 Ti 16xPCIE 192-bit 1GB GDDR5 w/HDMI + DVI + DSUB
CD/DVD Drive: Asus DRW-24B3ST 48xCD-R / 24xCD-RW / 48xCD / 12xDVD / 24xDVD+\-R / 12xDVD+\-R DL / 8xDVD+RW / 6xDVD-RW / 12xDVD-RAM SATA Combo Drive

Will decide on OS at a later stage.

Always try pair your memory up, so either 2x 1gb modules, or 2x 2gb modules ... well that's what I was always thought whether it's right or not ...

Also always been a Gigabyte fan myself, had a few issues with Asus stuff in the past ...

Yeah, sorry about that, I forgot to say x 2 "Kingston DDR3-1333 2GB Memory Module"

Hmm, I'll have to think about the Asus items then... :)

Thanks terror.

What do you think?
The Antec 300 is a terrible case to work with and very dated,
For the case I would recommend one of these two (there are better options, but they cost more):
Option 1or Option 2

For the RAM I would suggest getting either one of these:
Option 1 or Option 2
They're exactly the same, but one has a heat-spreader while the other does not.

You should change the PSU to one of these:
Modular, more efficient, more potential output, but more expensive. or Non-modular, less efficient, less potential output, less expensive.

The harddrive is good, but if you want more space and something slightly faster get this:
WD Black 1TB

The Motherboard should be changed to this:
Option 1

The CPU then should be changed to this if you want to overclock:
2500K

The CPU then should be changed to this if you DO NOT want to overclock:
2320

(Overclocking 1155 is REALLY, REALLY easy so there is no reason to not do it with a decent cooler)

If you want to overclock, get this CPU cooler: CPU Cooler

The graphics card should be changed to this: ASUS 560

Thank you, Fluke.

I spoke to a friend of mine today and he told me that I should get the one with which I can overclock.

Thank you for your help. I am now going to save up my money to buy everything. :)
