Converter Programs and or Codex pack

Hi,

I'm looking for a reliable and free converter program that either converts videos to AVI or to PS3 compatible files, or a codex pack for ps3 that plays flv, mkv etc, please let me know

I use two converters.
Any video converter:

Any has custom profile support and has wide variety of supported formats. It does have one small issue: as soon as its done converting videos it has a pop-up telling you to buy the pro version. it never locks itself or anything like that so its just a small annoyance

Freemake video converter has many different output profiles including PS3, Xbox and even Ipod. it also ahs a video cut feature but I never used it. I know its better than Any's cut feature.

unfortunately, PS3 doesn't support the ability to load costume codex onto it, even though the people on sony's forums keep wining and begging sony to support it. PS3 has multiple formats that it supports. but I often use just a few.

Formats I convert to are:

Use handbrake, it's been the best for me
