I would likely opt for small accessories. I am not too keen on making a bold statement about my involvement in the fandom to people who would almost inevitably get the wrong impression of it. i.e My family. :P I would be one Google search away from being disowned.

Oh noes, stop the fursection. >_<

Buy a Zootopia shirt; wear that for a few weeks.
And *then* buy the ZAFur shirt.

Make sure that your family watches a lot of Zootopia. Also: The Lion King, Robin Hood, Brother Bear, and Rocko's Modern Life.

Stick to the topic at hand please. :P Any suggestions for other stuff? For example, something more discreet that a t-shirt that screams "furfag"?

Me and Adagio have an idea, we just need the seamstress to put it into production.

Odd that... in our house at least, wearing Sonic apparel doesn't make me a "furfag"
But yeah, Zootopia t-shirt... where to get?

Dog collars and the like? Not a chance in hell.
Something like a chain link bracelet with the ZAFur logo hanging off of it?
I don't see why not.

I would love a mug with Brutallis on it with the caption, "This is ba-ney-neys" or give Leeward one with the caption, "Leeward, Out Standing in her Field!"

That's not really the idea, it's already customised by being ZAFur-themed. Maybe in future, if there's enough demand.

I would be interested in small items. Perhaps larger items too although I think it would make more sense to keep those for large events like if we get the convention running again. However don't forget that the number of poeple that would buy these things is very small and custom products are expensive. It might be simplest to look into getting something cheap like stickers or fabric transfers that can be easily bought and stored, even in bulk, and which can be used for multiple things. Like a small sticker can be put on a bag, a laptop, a phone etc and will be cheaper than a specific bag or phone cover.

You're right of course, but that's exactly why I'm looking into how much interest there is before going overboard with bulk orders.

Stickers would fall under stationery, as would pens, notebooks, and other cheap goodies, which are fairly straightforward to get done in large-but-not-huge quantities.

Fabric transfers are an excellent idea, thanks for that one. :)

The coffee mugs are also cheap and easy. The MUGGIT PREMIUM system works well and its durable. Hell if my Jewish employer can spend that kind of dough on us, then it must be cheap.

I opted for smalls & functionals, mostly because my job doesn't give me much opportunity to wear casual clothing & over weekends I basically bum it out in my pyjimjams.

SO!!! Add pyjamas to your repertoire and you'll hook me!

I didn't tick the clothing box, because I don't care much for a zafur logo or whatever on a T-shirt. But I would so buy a furfag shirt xD

I think flash drives would work. Can buy them relatively cheaply, if you buy bulk. You can even get them in the size of a card, so they could go in a card slot in a wallet... I got someone's business card as a 4GB in my wallet. If I could replace it with a Zafur 4GB (or maybe even 8GB, depending on the price difference) I'd be happy

Found this price list. If we get 50+, we can get 16GB's, for under R100 each. This includes shipping. It's for the ones that look like credit cards. Can put the Zafur logo on it or whatever

In this day and age, I wouldn't bother with a flash drive that's less than 16 GB.

Actually, it converts to just over R100 each. Which is also an upfront cost of about R5500. So are there 50 people willing to pay something like R120 for the USBs, which is what you need to break even. Don't forget you'll still need to pay here to send them to whoever wants one.

My problem with flash drives is that I never have it when I need it and I tend to lose it. Thats why the card is really nice, fits nicely in a wallet so you can always have it on you... at least when you have your wallet

You can also order it in a custom shape, for example a paw. But I think a card is better. More practical and probably cheaper

It fits into wallet just like any other card. Just a card-shaped USB

All the ones like that I've seen have broken... The cable tends to ware...

I'd like a memory stick... That'd be cool... I keep mine around my neck with the dog tags I wear...

I've been using mine for years. Doesn't have a wire that can ware... I guess we'll need to check the type first
