ZA Furries

Mr. Fred Patten, one of the stalwarts of the Furry community, will be writing an editorial about the SA Furry Convention.

This will be seen they world over. This is truly a make-or-break for the local fandom. It might even open doors for us to get international visitors in the future!

So, let's do the local fandom proud. Put on a great show. Behave in a civil manner. Have fun!

I will be bringing along my camera to take photos that I will share with him (with your permission of course.)

Take pictures. Keep a journal. Tweet or blog the hell out of Magaliesburg. We are making history.

Dear Jako;

With the South Afrifur convention only a week off, this is a reminder that Dogpatch Press wants to publish a featured, illustrated report about what happens there. We hope that you and the attendees will take lots of photographs and send them to DP, and send convention reports to me. We will look for the convention schedule on the convention website.

We're also interested in including reports about the earlier ZA events in 2008 and 2011. We have your photos. If you will ask any other ZA furs who may have photos or reminisces that they are willing to share, to contact us, we would appreciate it. Or if they will give you permission to send their e-mail addresses to me.
