Please use this topic to discuss carpooling from JHB. I have space in my car for 1 more fur, I'm just waiting confirmation on what area(s) I'll be coming from in JHB, but most likely Randburg. If anyone lives near the East Rand, it would be nice to offer carpooling to those arriving at JHB OR Thambo Airport.

I've decided to pin the carpooling threads to the top of the forum, to make them easier to find.

I'm flying in from Cape Town to O.R on that Friday. I will probably rent a vehicle for the weekend. Will be small, can maybe seat 2 extra people depending on luggage size. If anyone needs a ride from the airport, let me know which times. Otherwise, I'll book a 10 am flight. Should land around 12, and be at the Retreat around 2 pm

I'll be travelling up from Emmarentia to Bryanston from around 12pm and then to Magalies Retreat from there, I have space for 1 more in my car preferably from anywhere in Randburg/Sandton areas

Not really Car Pooling but same idea? Am able to offer a nights crash site at my place for anyone flying up or leaving the day after. Have some beds and spare rooms.

I live in Fourways near the Montecasino.
Can fit 1 person and luggage in my car.
One spare bed in my flat if you arrive early or need to stay after.
Will be leaving Friday morning to the venue and “possibly” leaving Monday morning.

If arriving form OR Thambo I would like to ask that I can pick you up at the Midrand Station.
I work from 07:00 to 17:00 so expect to be picked up late and get stuck in the dark and traffic with me.

Last minute plans...
I'll be leaving Bryanston at 1-2pm on Friday to drive to the convention.
