Re: Kirtaro Photography
Yeah it's the fence. If you've seen what these animals do to my clothes and flesh, you too would never take your camera anywhere near them haha
Also the amount of cellphones I've lost playing with these animals is just rediculous. Well not lost so much as gotten chewed to bits.

Re: Kirtaro Photography
If you go close to the fence then surely the lens can fit between the wires?

I tried a quick manual fix, not the greatest but it already looks better. This is just a preview though, forum won't let me upload the full size. I can send you the working file if you want to tinker further.

Re: Kirtaro Photography
@Rakuen Growlithe no not really, it is slightly harder than that. The fence is diamond mesh, and my lens is far too large to fit through. Also animals have minds and lives of their own, usually you only get a few seconds to capture the perfect pose before they change position. its very very rare that you get a straight forward picture, most of the times you have to aim diagonally through the fence (which leaves only about 1/6 of its original size to see through) cause if i move they move and even if they didn't move, by the time i get into a forward position they would have changed the pose i was aiming to capture or the angle would have the same impact. lastly it's a double layered fence, 1st layer is a non electrified reinforced diamond mesh fence, the second is a multi leveled horizontal electrified line fence. so when taking the photo you have to aim through 2 fences and not just one
@Leeward that looks great. its vastly improved. i can still see the slight lightness of the photo but the lines and steaks are gone. which tool or filter did you use or was it more than that? Also thanks leeward, if i can replicate this effect on the other photos, then i have a few very nice wolf photos for all of you
Also while i'm at it, lets add a herbivore to the diversity.

No filters. Filters are global so by definition don't work on region-based artefacts. What I did was add a layer in Burn mode that is a light grey to lighter grey gradient (imperceptible to the eye) that matches the lighting in the unaffected areas, and then add a mask to it that only applies it to the areas where you can see the fence. It's not completely accurate though, you can still see some light streaks where the burn should be applied but wasn't, and dark streaks where the mask went too far. I just made quick rough outlines of where I could see the fence. Ideally you'd refine the mask until it matches up perfectly, but I'm lazy.Kirtaro wrote:@Leeward that looks great. its vastly improved. i can still see the slight lightness of the photo but the lines and steaks are gone. which tool or filter did you use or was it more than that? Yep, and in Arizona, you can own them as pets.

I love caracals! My mate is sort of an honorary furry so I designed him a fursona, and that's the species he chose for it. :3

Re: Kirtaro Photography
Dear Randall thanks for the offer but i think my photos are Pro enough. actually maybe beyond pro. Ellie is a Pro Wedding photographer who made a living doing just that, and she thinks i could make a living out of it as well with my skills as is. She even once called me a Pro. so thanks for looking out for me but i'm good (dang no thumbs up emoticon) then a smiley faceRandall wrote:Dear OP, here is a site I used to follow to become pro at photography

Just a request from my side, but can you maybe do something which is like water dripping from a plant after the rain, or a bird taking a bath in the rain, anything rain related :p
