Don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I couldn't find any threads about YouTube, so this is good enough.

I recently watched DHMIS.. why? Why would anyone make that? What was the point? It's making me question my life? Who thought that it was a good idea to make that?

What do I think of it? I BLOODY LOVED IT! It was so well done! The tunes are so catchy! The styling of a kids TV show was incredible! And I just really loved tricking people to think that it was a kid's TV show and making them watch it! :D

What did you guys think of DHMIS.

I couldn't find any other posts about DHMIS, but if there is, I'm sorry. :)

It's not fucked up. It's a very poignant message about censorship and indoctrination (the first one, that is). I've only seen the first two, but they all have deeper meanings. You just need to stop and think about the symbolism rather than the gore and horror on the surface.

I think there is a lot that could be said about DHMIS. There are certainly plenty of videos discussing it at length across Youtube. If anything, it's clear that there is a lot more depth to the videos than is immediately apparent on a first viewing.
The extremely twisted humor and strange imagery really contribute to how unsettling the videos are. Some of those songs are really catchy though.
They were very well done, and also made me feel somewhat ill at times.
So... I guess I liked them?

The Film Theorists made a theory about DHMIS, and it's the best theory I've seen for it. Also, episode 6 is my favourite, but episode 2 has my favourite song out of them all.

Ha, I have seen that theory also. Yet never actually watched a episode of DHMIS. I just love watching that channel, I didn't care. I have never seen it and their theory still makes sense.

I'm a bit addicted to YouTube, its becoming a problem
