(Tryin' ta be more active around here, but durn real life...)
So anyone remember that 2011 Tintin film? Personally I adored it - grew up on Tintin, as did my dad, and we both felt it did a wonderful job of translating the old comics into a modern movie format in a way that didn't sacrifice their essence. Really felt like Spielberg was doing it out of a genuine love of the comics rather than a desire to make profit off them.
Anyway...I was wondering if anyone might know anything certain about whether the sequels will be happening, or when they might come out if they do. Initially the first sequel was meant to come out this year, but nowadays most of the reports are pretty contradictory. Would be a damn shame if this franchise died in the water - it's one of the ones that really taps into my childhood.
