I think Brisby is simply a severely dysfunctional human who posts nothing but barely relevant, often inappropriate garbage (such as the gore in this thread, the blurry nonsense in the photos thread, the obscure foreign stuff in the lyrics thread, and IIRC some weird MLP balloon fetish fanfic in the 18+ section) out of a desire to participate and belong, and yet is incapable of reacting when mentioned, asked a question, or even temp-banned because of said dysfunctionality.

Either that or it's a troll who enjoys confounding people into wondering whether they're a bot or an incredibly stupid human.

Or maybe it's an experimental AI whose aim is to prove that we need a new Turing test, who knows.

I doubt he's foreign. In the photos he took are signs using metric units and the prices in them seem to be in Rand. He's probably a local, but is a little... socially impaired. Not that that's a wildly uncommon feature here, but his is more than the usual.

Hm... After going to check the photos more closely, I think Lee may actually be right. Steff-Houlberg, a Scandinavian food brand, is featured in them, and the cars seem to be parked in such a way to suggest driving on the right hand side of the road (which would rule out SA).

Oh jfc you guys... I just watched an unexpectedly awesome movie! Was clicking around YouTube & "Leafie: A Hen Into The Wild" was mentioned in a little Top 5 kind of video. There it was in the Up Next scroll, so being hopped up on disease & drugs, I opted in for what I thought would be a quirky bit of fluff to pass an hour.

I have no words to describe this movie! It tells the tale of a battery hen that escapes from the egg barn into the wild. Through some events, she become the foster mother to a duckling. She raises him as well as a chicken can raise a duck and he eventually realises that family is everyone who helps you along the path of life - not just the people who birthed you.

The animation style is of surprisingly high quality! The story, although it sounds trite in my synopsis above, is mindblowingly complex & multifaceted. It is downright gritty at times and delves deeply into concepts such as compassion & social responsibility.

If you have an hour & 15mins to spare - please watch this gem. And remember... I'M NOT CRYING - *YOU'RE* CRYING!!!! ;____;
