Back from seeing Batman v Superman.
It was good enough, imo.

Won't be seeing it in cinemas again, once was enough for me.

Some scenes are (black for possible spoilers, no details though) dreams or flashbacks, and this can make it seem disconnecting because you aren't sure if what you're seeing is real or not at the time. Maybe that was the point, idk.

Welp, I just got emotionally rekt. Decided to watch "Aru Hi Inu no Kuni kara Tegami ga Kite". It's about a deceased dog writing a letter from heaven to his previous owner.

I have begun watching The Walking Dead after urging from one of my friends, and have just finished watching the first season. Not bad at all! I am more of an aficianado for science fiction, mystery and adventure than horror/thriller (i.e I'd rather watch an episode of Sherlock, Elementary, House or Doctor Who), but I think it is a series I shall be following.

We watched Once Upon a Time in Shanghai.

It occupied a nice middle ground between absurdity and religious realism.
That, and because it was in Chinese, it felt super authentic.
Also, who doesn't like a film where the protagonist kills people with a single punch.

Aggressive Retsuko. It's about a cute tanuki who works as an accountant in a big office building, but sometimes the stress piles up, and when it reaches the boiling point, well... all that aggression has to go somewhere. :3

That reminded me of something that fascinates me about the Japanese. They often point out, in games and animes, the blood type of a character. I know the reason, it's because they believe that blood types are a lot like horoscopes e.g. people of the same blood type have similar characteristics.

I just love it when I watch something and it's like "I'm 25, single, and blood type B"...

Um... Okay, I just watched a... "movie" I guess you'd call it. You know when a movie is so ridiculously, horrendously bad it becomes sorta good? "Iron Virgin Jun" is like that. It's about a girl called Jun. It's a tradition in her family for the girls to get married on their 18th birthday. The thing is, she really, really, really doesn't want to get married, so she runs away. Her mother then sends out a (for lack of a better word) "rape squad" to go and "retrieve" her.

Because obviously a good raping is the best way to convince a rebellious daughter to get married. /s

Oh, and the rape squad is equipped with gigantic spinning strap-on drill dildos. (Drilldos?) I swear I'm not making this up.

It might might sound like a hentai, but it's totally not! I found this on KissAnime, FFS! O_O

If you guys have not yet Watched Star Wars: The Clone Wars, you really should.
The first two seasons are kind of meh, but season 3 onward are absolutely brilliant.

While the Clone Wars felt really clinical in the the films, you really get a sense of the reality of war in the series.

I know like none of the furries, even here in the UK, are even remotely interested in Sport, but I just watched frikken Southampton (relatively okayish team from the South Coast of England) thrash frikken Manchester City (the better of the two Manchester teams). I am so amped now for the Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspurs (WHOOOO GO SPURS!!!!!) game tomorrow. If my boys do it, they could seriously win the Premier League this year. If that happens, I will literally cry tears of joy and kiss a goat. Or something. I don't know what I'll do, but it will be spontaneous... Also now I'm watching some show jumping, because I bought a subscription to a horse related TV site, so I might as well use the damn thing.

I just watched... something. I have no idea what to make of it. It's called "Cat Shit One" aka "Apocalypse Meow", and it's about (I swear I'm not making this up) anthro bunny soldiers fighting to save hostages from Iranian terrorists (who are camels).
It sounds like some kind of joke, but the whole thing is super deadly serious. O_O

I watched so my war films as a kid, and they never once got to me.
I have been revisiting some of my favorites, and I have legitimately ended up being utterly horrified at some points.
I guess it because I've been consciously working on being empathetic these last few years. In some cases, I even end up feeling for some of the antagonists - especially if they're doing what they are for what could be considered a "noble" reason.

Cat Shit One? I've heard of it but couldn't tell you anything more than the name until Contrast brought it up again. I did quick forum search and Wolfskunk mentioned it in 2011 but didn't see it elsewhere.
