Well hello to all my fellow Bronies.
Thought I would start this thread, well because surprisingly this show is just purely awesome. It does seem weird, but I know I'm not the only one that loves it here :3
The show has a large following with older males/females, the creator Lauren Faust has said that she has a definite interest in pleasing this demographic. Examples can be seen where 4chan's /co/ found out a pony had a herp-derp expression in ep01, from then on it was called Derpy Hooves and is starting to appear more in the show. (Lauren Faust acknowledged it btw)

So any discussion at all you want about this show can go in here, what pony would you be, what would your cutie mark look like, why is this show so popular? etc etc

For a start I would definitely be Rainbow Dash or Apple Jack :p and I totally think that Rainbow Dash's umm "barn door swings both ways" heheh

Yeah I'm going to admit that ever since I saw the Starcraft 2 voice over mashup with the show I wanted to watch it. I must get the eps from somewhere. It looks like it'll just be one of those silly shows to watch.

Also it gave us Derpie Hooves who is the most random thing to appear on the internet in a long time. Especially since she's just some background character.

Side Note: I still don't understand why there is such a huge fanbase for Luna. Guess I'll have to wait for the second season to find out.

But I don't think i will be revisiting it anytime soon but i can see why people would like it.
it has the power-puff girl mentality of beating people of and expressing built up emotions in a form of fiscal reactions (be it painful or not).
It also seems to have a monster fighting element to it.
(I wonder if the original my little pony was like that...?)

anyways, personally i think the brony fandom is a blight upon the furry fandom, it’s like a little misshapen horse fetus that got pooped out from furrydome... that subsequently grew larger and more mainstream than the furry fandom... its infecting furry artists and converting them to drawing nothing but nonstop horse █████.
all my favorite online haunts are polluted with exaggerated "anatomically correct" horse creatures... i find this vexing to say the least but it's also drumming up a lot of gay ass bullshit like love peace and friendship… which irks me to no end. i firmly believe that this is ultimately going to lead to the world being a place where you are persecuted for being normal, and not wanting to partake in some sick fetishist lifestyle is going to get you thrown in jail. /(Owo)\ i mean i like living a deviant lifestyle too, but when it becomes mainstream it's seriously going to lose its appeal.

there have been some divisions between the furry and brony fandoms that are sadly dying down and i see the two fandoms mutating/merging in some two headed freak show kinda way.
