Dude, I don't know what planet you just fell from, but in case you didn't notice the site title, this is a furry forum. You could at the very least introduce yourself before diving straight into asking for tech support. Go to StackOverflow if that's all you want.

Why you using JIRA?
Any way welcome to the forum! Might be a good idea to heard to the introductions section and intruduce yourself.

Re: Cannot upload DBF files to JIRA on Windows
This is caused by incorrect MIME handling by Windows when 'DBF Viewer 2000' is installed. The 'DBF Viewer 2000' program associates the .DBF file extension with 'application/DBF Viewer 2000' instead of 'application/octet-stream'. Remove 'DBF Viewer 2000' from the affected system. If you are still experiencing the issue I can suggest this program DBF Repair Toolbox https://www.repairtoolbox.com/dbfrepair.html

People believe it or not but you're allowed to introduce yourself first.amadeoortegon wrote:This is caused by incorrect MIME handling by Windows when 'DBF Viewer 2000' is installed. Re: Cannot upload DBF files to JIRA on Windows
Both users have been permanently banned. Almost the full length of their posts is directly copied from https://confluence.atlassian.com/displa ... on+Windows In addition, amadeoortegon shows up on a list of reported forum spam users http://stopforumspam.com/ipcheck/104.224.25.42 I'm assuming they are both related bots that work together.
Amusingly enough the Stop Forum Spam site also includes this message: "More and more countries have creeping levels of authoritarian Internet controls (e.g. China, Saudi, South Africa, Singapore) where people utilise VPN connections to bypass Government controlled proxy servers to access information that is censored or where simply accessing it comes with a serious risk of death (e.g. Bangladesh, Pakistan)."

Depends what you look at. That's probably information that is considered blasphemous.RavenSong wrote:Does that mean if you goon the interwebs in Pakistan you get arrested and murdered o_O
It wasn't by the government but by May 2015, three Bangladeshi bloggers had been murdered that year for promotion of free thought.

Saudi Arabia sentenced a poet to death for various charges of blasphemy. When someone described that as ISIS-like on Twitter, the government sued him because:
https://whyevolutionistrue.wordpress.co ... isis-like/"Questioning the fairness of the courts is to question the justice of the Kingdom and its judicial system based on Islamic law, which guarantees rights and ensures human dignity”, [the newspaper] Al-Riyadh quoted the justice ministry source as saying. The ministry would not hesitate to put on trial “any media that slandered the religious judiciary of the Kingdom,”

Re: Cannot upload DBF files to JIRA on Windows
This forum has indeed been part of some strange things. This has to take the cake, though.
Re: Cannot upload DBF files to JIRA on Windows
So both these bots have been found and removed....
Why do they exist in the first place? It feels almost ridiculous that they exist other than to somehow ask random questions and give answers. And for Win 2k? That's a fairly outdated system.
Just feels rather weird

That doesn't mean anything. Up until recently, we had to support browsers going as far back as IE 8. Now that was hellish.Hargan wrote:And for Win 2k? That's a fairly outdated system.
