I say, not even death can save you from me! You will be assimilated into the swarm. Obedience or Oblivion: this is why we fight!
I look forward to doing battle with you commander, and with everyone else on this god-forsaken forum who cares to join the melee!
Yay starcraft yay!

Hey! anoyomouse.Stefan wrote: tho i suck at it and will prolly never play competitively because it ruins the fun of playing the game.
We do not have to play competitively.
We can ply co-op.
As I explained to Ryall:
Gaming is more like our golf.
We take it easy.
I guess it is better to compere it to poker night.
Although you may suck it is still fun to just be there.
Ryall is definitely competitive.
But I like to chat while we play which almost throws the "tactics".
Isn't that right Ryall.
If you still want, you can just join to see what it is like.
Just ask and I will PM what you need or you can PM me.

No - thank you! It was nice meeting you Stefan, and for "casual" players you two still did some massive damage : well played well played!
Anoyomouse you have the game too? Good man! Now Stefan, myself, you and Rune have it!
We must definitely organise some fun, furry custom matches between the 4 of us, and perhaps even dish out some fury on the 4v4 ladder! It will be a blast, don't be shy!

I went the whole way and got the Collectors Ed on Launch Day, so had it since it came out
But i didn't want to say till i finished the campain, and OMG it's awesome
it's a recommended buy and play
i'm amazed i managed to finish the game on normal mode, except that last freaking level OMG it's worthy of the name "final level" >.<
Gah, will have to sit and play it on normal till i beat it! >.<
And no, i don't want tips, i want to figure it out on my own!

Anoyomouse, I haven't seen you online: not once. I understand that you're very busy however, but set aside some time lest you miss out on more furocious furry slaughter!
You too Rune, although I have seen you on once or twice but I don't think I've actually played you.
As for you Stefan, you free-for-all whore, next time I play you (which I presume will be tonight) I'm going to eat your face. You made many enemies with that little manoeuvre into me and Fobo's base. At least you had the courtesy to finish what I started, but that's part of the problem now isn't it? You must die...

as i mentioned before, i do this to relax, if i get cornered in a game and beaten to crap i don't enjoy it and it ruins the game
i know i don't practise, and well, that genrally means i'll suck by default.
Soo my point is WHY would i even go into something i know i won't enjoy? >.>

Yeah! Where are the rest of you guys?
We are not going to bully you online.
We want to make new friends and have fun.
Me and Ryall promise to put on our handycap on maximum to make it all even.
Isn't that right Ryall. *puts pistol to head*
(hey! role-playing is fun)
Shall we make a day or something.
Saturday at 19:00???
I don't know. You guys tell me when.
Me and Ryall have been using SC2 more like a glorified VIOP chatroom lately.
I think we spoke for hours about the fandom and furrys.
And had some awesome games. (thanks man!)
My tactics are honourable(unlike a hyena I know).
Ok I will try to be on tonight 18:00.
see you there!

Re: Star Craft 2
Why Do you guys think we have to fight each other?
There is co-op against the A.I..
We can still have fun like you do in single player.
But you will have friends to scheme and talk with.
There are also other maps mods that are really fun to play together as a team.
Like I sad
It is like golf or poker.
Everyone is there because they want to relax and have fun with friends.
I will make sure you guys have a good first online experience with friends.
You will never know unless you try.

Re: Star Craft 2
Then there's masochists, like Fluke, who thought it would be fun to play me one on one for 6 games - this was after I had steamrolled Fluke and Spilcer in a 2v1 team-game. Shit got real
That aside though, the three of us played some pretty awesome custom maps, including infested arena. Co-op survival between the 3 of us: what a lovely bonding experience that was
Pity Splicer fox decided that his 'juggernaut' class would best be used as a spellcaster instead of a tank.
Hehe, jokes. Play summore this weekend!

Re: Star Craft 2
No!
I keep on dying the second a other player spots me.
I am always levels behind with no cash.
How the hell do you people take the time and brainpower to memorize the Item combinations and the characters it suites?
I am stuck with people that play way to much games.
I cant even play 2 v Ryall, he is just to good.
This makes it harder to have fun but we have our moments.
I only seem to excel at doing damage to him in Free for All.
Even if I lose I have fun in the struggle to survive that extra few mints. (because I know what I am doing and can at least hit him back.)
But not dota or COD.
Just move, die, Repeat.
I play with chicks that beat be in COD, possibly the only reason they invite me to play. (because I make them look good.)
Dota is the worst, I refuse to Play unless it can be guaranteed I can have fun.
And by the way Ryall!
You destroyed my base long before I even got to you AND you had a chance to wipe me out that lasted 30min before I recovered and came back for my revenge. You a bigger ass-hole, destroying my base so early in the game. You deserve to be punished! I only won because you all just quit.

Re: Star Craft 2
the DOTA problem is the same thing i've got against custom maps ... the more you "tweak" it, or change it in your favor, the less and less people can actuially play it, because noone can beat the one who knows the map the best ....
Everyone also has their own preferred version of it, (put in 1000000 variations of DOTA maps here), and there are very few "official" maps out there, that people play.
that's why i sighed a breath of relief when I saw Heroes of Newerth and was happy cause maybe now people will actually play a damn game of warcraft III, and not the same crap they don't let anyone know their secrets of >.<
i'm afraid SC2 is going to go the same way .. it frightens me >.>

Re: Star Craft 2
Whoa lots of repressed anger here.
Although yes competitive DOTA players are annoying. To be honest though the second game we played was a lot more like battleships or battletanks than DOTA.
I didn't want to wipe you out completely that's just not in the spirit of Free for All, and besides, Fluke was on a rampage right after I attacked you and so I tried to stop him, but carriers own mutalisks and hyralisks it would seem. I didn't have my corruptor fleet ready in time.
We quit because Mortas had quit, and me and Hellshound had crippled eachother after a large under-dog fight (from heroes to zeros, we fought all the way. It ended up zealots and templars vs. cracklings). Somebody had to keep the diamond leaguer in check.

An asshole for destroying your base? You ATTACKED me and went straight in to destroy my Hive while I was fighting Hellshound what did you expect was going to happen? Now I'm an asshole? one day i will have to log in when you're all around so i can actually play a game with you guys ...
should add me to messengers and stuff, so you can drag me into a game dammit else i'll never know .. i don't do competitive gaming (as stated above), but i wouldn't mind being offered a game if everyone is around
also on dota -> Clash of the DOTAs

League of Legends--> Newbie-friendly, with an abundance of tooltips, and item/build recommendations to ease players in.
Heros of Newerth --> Fairly steep; prior experience with DOTA plus forum browsing for tactics and builds is necessary.

You can play a pretty decent DOTA game even if you just make 3 builds, one for agility, one for intelligence and one for strength. It's usually only fine-tuning according to the hero you have, unless you are planning a certain strategy.

Runnn.
3 builds, fine-tuning, certain strategy I take it you love Dota.
why! do you people do this to me. *cries in corner*
It is all just a noob-bashing extravaganza were ever I go.
I demand You all put your handicap on. To make it fair for us people whom have lives.
That is why the developers put it there.
Of course we do try to balance it through teams. But that still does not stop the noob-slaughter.
Alternatively lets not try to play dota. Unless you can promise it will be noob friendly.
