What do you guys think'll do better? BF1, or Cod: IW? Personally, I'm routing for Battlefield because HOLY CRAP, WWI looks good in that game! :D And I hate the new COD's.

First and last battlefield I got was Battlefield 3, last CoD I got was Advanced Warfare, (with only playing the Blops sp before).

I played way more battlefield mp than CoD, although I finished both CoD campaigns and not the BF one.

I'll probably not be getting either, unless I've got a bunch of people to play with on one of em. :P

At which I think will do best, probably CoD again.
A lot of the people angry at them including the remaster version of MW probably already pre ordered it, after giving the release trailer a thumbs down to show they don't approve, of course.

You are such a cow.

I played BF competitively for 5 years and I've been with the franchise since the very beginning.

The alternate universe WWI theme looks awesome.

I'm going to go with Battlefield 1, since it's World War 1 and I just... Get all giddy at the mention of a WW1 FPS game. That being said, I am extremely upset about BF1 if the rumours are true, seeing as the rumours state that they
have decided to include USA (Participated 1917-1918) but not France (Participated 1914-1918) which... IF it is true, is just mindblowing and would make me extremely sad. However, just rumours, so I hope France will be included <3

Also! I am probably most likely still going to grab Infinite Dooty for the Modern Warfare remake.

What about DOOM or another game genre?

You should know by now not to take those sort of statements seriously. I played Spreadsheets in Space (EVE Online), and I completely 'get' house people can lose their lives to it.

Secondly, you can't just say 'neither' and not provide an alternative. Also, Doom has never been about the multi-player (although, we did LAN 3 back in the day). If you wanted a fair comparison, you should have instead mentioned Red Orchestra / Rising Storm or Insurgency.

Especially if perhaps such statements are among stories posted on April Fool's day, hm? ;)

Despite the assertion that I cannot do so without suggesting an alternative, I second Flaxney: neither. Military shooters are not exactly a favoured genre of mine (although there has been the odd exception, such as Crysis, but that bordered on science-fiction).

From the trailers, however, Battlefield I seems to have higher production quality.
