It's going to be the bomb!
It's glowing with promise!
And there's a cute dog!

I don't like it.
It seems too busy and populated.

I like my toxic wasteland filled with mysteries and dark places.
With a crushing feeling of loneliness and foreboding.
The few people you meet are almost always twisted and mad.
And life is cheap.

This fallout 4 is starting to look like final fantasy to me.

I will eat my own words though.
I am going to buy it.

I wish there was a s.t.a.l.k.e.r version of fallout.
Or a s.t.a.l.k.e.r with a multitude of zones and quests and more content AND NO BUGS

I suppose it is looking quite full here but as I recall the rumours are that it's going to be in Boston in the Commonwealth. The place that is relatively well-off and building androids and stuff.

I kinda like it. It makes me feel as though things are being rebuilt in certain areas.

Hells yeah! Get hyped!!!!

But in all seriousness, I'm really looking forward to this. If this is released before my December exams, I'm pretty sure I can kiss my grades goodbye.

For some reason I get this slight nagging feeling that this won't be as epic as expected (hardcore fan here) but regardless, I'll buy it and play the ♥♥♥♥ out of it.

It is a bad idea to judge the game by its trailer.
I did see a scene with a death claw in a mucky debris field.
That looked good.

It just that in Fallout Vegas I really hated the City.
I stayed away from the main campaign throughout the game.

I did like Old World Blues, Dead Money and Lonesome Road DLC.
Also the eye-bot in Vegas was tolerable as a companion.
I normally leave companion out because they are annoying and stupid.
I prefer to go it alone. (anti-social playstyle)

I do however have this burning desire to build disposable drones or robots.
So the dog is not really good enough for me. (Yes I know of the robot dog)
The only reason I would drag someone along with me would be to carry my guns and loot.
I literately treat my companions like a golf caddy.
“Veronica! Fetch my legendary 50. cal sniper rifle! And bring the explosive rounds!”
I am a very greedy player so I load my companions full of crap I find in the world.

The interesting idea the Trailer gave me, was with the airship.
Would it not be cool to have your base of operations to be a friggen airship?
That will really help me with travel time back and forth from the base.

I loved stalker with all of its crippling flaws.
You should check out the HD mods for stalker.

I want to show off my Fallout 3 Vegas character here sometime.
I exploited the crap out of the levelling system and made it my mission to find skill books.
I also got some crazy perks if I can recall.
My Fav weapon was Esther with tiny tots.

I usually leave them out because that's just one extra person to try keep alive (and one that will do stupid things that will get themselves killed like not being able to climb rocks so instead running across a deathclaw filed), it doesn't help my sneaking when someone decides to start shooting at the people I'm trying to avoid and they don't get that I can lie. No, I'm not working with the Legion, I'm infiltrating the legion!

I don't care what you all say and think I'm getting fallout 4 have been a Fallout fan since the first game.

I was going to get it regardless of trailer, I love these games :D. I don't really care what changes they make provided they keep it interesting and the gameplay more or less the same (I don't want no COD in my fallout!).

I like having companions provided they don't feel like a mindless drone, Dragon Age and Bioshock Infinite did them well and I loved having them around. Skyrim companions on the other hand I felt nothing for when I accidently hacked them in half ;D.
It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, especially if you live near him.

This... wow, this looks amazing! Though I've been enticed by trailers before, bought the game, and been severe disappointed.

I'll definitely try and pick it up (should it be within budget, of course :p) and have another go at the post-nuclear craziness that is Fallout.

Wish I could claim I've been a fan since the first game however I only started playing at Fallout 3... but that might have been before my time. Would it be worth retro-gaming these titles simply to experience them?

I only started there too. I later signed up to GOG because it let me get all the previous Fallout games for free. I've tried them but they've been really difficult to get into.

Bethesda even released a trailer for Dishonored 2, so I am really happy this morning.

That's because games these days are way too easy, and hold your hand too much. FO2 is still by far the best in the series.

Still taking the game fairly slowly. There's quite a few changes that are taking a while to get used to, particularly all this crafting stuff and what seems to be a weird first-person sim city vibe. Oh well, the first playthrough is always mostly teaching you how to play. Like a 60 hour tutorial. :p

You don't only put it in his inventory, you have to hit the button as well to say "hey you use this now"
Hm... yea better then your followers just auto equipping everything but I was used to them auto equipping the gear!

Played through 3 and New Vegas multiple times (and played Fallout Shelter). The earlier ones I glanced at briefly but never really played much.

Yea, sim apocalypse just feels like they couldn't be bothered to actually build a finished game so they threw in a shitty lvl editor and allowed you to rip apart all their crap. I've noticed a few glitches, nothing game destroying, but it still feels like something a little too sloppy. I'm constantly waiting for a microtransaction message telling me that I could get these new upgrades for just 50c and for a whole R20 my towns people will gather twice as much food this week.
