This game looks absolutely stunning:
Has anyone here bought/played it yet?
Ori and the Blind Forest
Re: Ori and the Blind Forest
Is it just me or are the visual theme and gameplay similar to Dust: An Elysian Tail?
Re: Ori and the Blind Forest
Maybe coarsely, but the graphics in this game look far more refined. Dust was a bit simple-cartoony, mainly 2D elements, and this looks like full-bore 3D platforming (albeit from a 2D camera).Leeward wrote:Is it just me or are the visual theme and gameplay similar to Dust: An Elysian Tail?
And gameplay, well - name a platformer that didn't involve getting from left to right while taking out monsters. As far back as Mario, that's what platformers have been all about

It was actually seen as a suggestion from the guys from Dust as a game that did similar things to theirs in respect to storyline and general beauty.

Croc. Croc 2. Ape Escape. I feel like I have a very limited knowledge of 3D platformers...Tetsudra wrote:And gameplay, well - name a platformer that didn't involve getting from left to right while taking out monsters.
