So my mate, his brother and his bff have finally convinced me to join them in Clash of Clans. I'm not too thrilled because it's very addictive. Who else plays?

My sister often sits on her phablet, playing it. It looks like a watered down RTS.

Yes it was fun the first while but when you hit the point where every attacker rips out 2 healers and giant swarms everything grinds to a fucking halt. Why Cause to proceeed I needed gold to upgrade my defences but can't build it up because of near endless raids taking all my gold. And no I cant raid other people for gold because I need elixr to do that and same as before it gets stolen the whole time.
but when I do finally get a chance to invade someone all that I encounter is people with pocket change, and barely any elixir to make a profit. or they have a ton but when you attack surprise surprise they have fully upgraded healers in their clan castles that make it impossible to damage their defenses

so I could not upgrade.
Because I could not escape the cycle.
Mines get x amount of gold in during 12hr shield. raiders steal x*1.2 gold and sticks me with 12hr shield. rinse-repeat, count losses, rinse-repeat

that's the problem. most clans I got into were filled with people pretty reluctant to give out troops that would work good for defense.

Normally I hate them too, but I'm giving this one a chance because people I care about are asking me to. Hopefully it get forgotten soon. In the meantime I'll try to enjoy it.
