You should go if you like warhammer.Can't say that I have before.
I know 2 furs that do the table top thing but you wont find them here.
But mybie at icon you can.

I play 40k most often i have Eldar Chaos, Imperial Guard.
I also play Fantasy
Depending on how the semesters going I'm keen to play as often as possible ;P.
I play at Icon almost every year but i tend to lose a few points because my army isn't fully painted, cost me 2nd Place this year ;(.

It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, especially if you live near him.
