Binding of Isaac

This was inevitable with my love/hate relationship for the game.

Binding of Isaac is a rogue-like shooter in which... you... um... control Isaac, in one of his many... um... sets of clothing... and fight his mother because she's... um... trying to kill him because a voice from above said so and so he escape's into the basement and... fight's his way through indescribable things and... picks up... Items, for lack of a better word, which can help or hinder, but all alter Issac umtil he looks.... very unlike Isaac... and...

Ok, my description of the game is terrible. But essentially, it is a rogue-like shooter, and is incredibly twisted with fun music. Seriously check it out.

Anyone who has played the game, feel free to gripe, complain, scream or yell out in joy/frustration here. Bragging is also accepted.

I think I was given a taster of this game while chatting to Gray the other night, it sounds disturbing if it's the same one.

I am a huge fan of The Binding of Isaac,

My favourite play though combo was.
- The Cyborg eye (that I got from the demonic altar for 3 grey harts)
- Odd mushroom that increases your firing speed to Max.
- And then the chocolate milk that lets you power up the laser.
(Totally unstoppable)

I once found the “I AM ERROR” map in a secret room.
And I defeated “Mothers Hart”

I want the expansion “The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb” so badly but I got my original version from The Humble Indi Bundle.
So I don’t think it will work.

And yeah, wrath of lamb is horrendously fun

And I only found I AM ERROR once. So hard to find.

My favourite combo was from WoL:
Technology
Technology 2 (fires a more rapid but less damaging beam, allows a normal tear to fire from your other eye)
Rage (When you kill an enemy, increase damage)
And lots of damage upgrades.

Hargan, I hate you.....my mind is now scarred forever. But I can't stop playing that damn game. Iv'e already unlocked Cain, Eve and Magdalene, beaten mom once, and have now moved into the....erm....section after killing mom (pg-13 remember). After playing the game for a bit, I couldn't get the damn music out of my head so I did the only logical thing and downloaded the entire soundtrack aswell. Curse you Hargan, I should be playing Mass Effect 3's extended cut right now.

Pawsome game ^^, i cant seem to get past the point, where u defeat mom and you're in the "womb" levels? ..yeah :/ slightly hard game and that's why i love it ^,..,^

I am so very addicted to this game, and it's been months

My fave combo: cyclops eye thingy, plus brimstone, plus a few speedups and flying. It takes forever to charge, but can one hit most bosses ^^

ill be the age of 63 by the time i get to the final ending of this game :/


Also, if you guys have spare bombs laying around in your inventory, be sure to pop them down next to walls where you think there could be a hidden room :3 just a tip
