The perfect song to play at a conservative church - I swear.

Even better than that Christian band, Lamb of God.
I would love for someone to play Descending at a church.

I've now got the concept recording of The Count of Monte Cristo. Freaking awesome. And by the same guy who made the Jekyll and Hyde musical. If I learn of them being performed nearby I will have to be there.
The song that launched me into my current electroswing craze. I am so glad I stumbled across the genre. :3 And, yes, I did see the official music video, and I cannot link it directly here in the PG-13 boards. However, I was one of the few who really liked it.

I absolutely lost my shizzle when I saw that video! It's the first song I play when I hop into the car for a long drive.
I shared the video with a friend of mine, and in just a few minutes she had already designed a character inspired by the video and music. Wonderful!
"Nothing around you, nothing you say, nothing involving you concerns me today. Maybe you'll find out, maybe you'll break, maybe you'll end up just the way I am today."
Sometimes, listening to a song that just echoes how you feel is enough to make you feel better. Sort of like destructive interference with waves.
"Are you sick of it? Raise your hands, get rid of it, and stand a fighting chance! Are you over it, bored of it, take a chance, raise your hands!"
If thats a bit wrong, sorry... Its out of memory...

I have found myself a collection of steampunk inspired songs.
Hearing a story of airships doing battle is particularly exciting for me.
Aurelio Voltaire and the like. The Mechanical Girl at this moment though.

'Skin' by Breaking Benjamin.
This song is somewhat close to me, not because of the lyrics, but because of when I once listened to it. In high school, there was a girl I had a crush on - she was in a different school. Being the introvert I was (and still am, though I was far more asocial and reclusive then), my preferred means of communication was... you guessed It! Texting!
It was a late afternoon, and the sun was setting over the horizon. There was a chilly Autumn breeze drifting across the cricket field, and there I was sitting under a tree, tall and lanky, still in my batting gear. I plugged in my earphones and was listening to this song on repeat (I really liked it at the time, and still do - but for different reasons) as I was texting her.
Nothing came of it because of circumstances beyond my control, but whenever I hear this song (especially the happy, carefree-sounding lead guitar during the chorus) I think back to that afternoon, and those days in general.

It's just one of those days,
Where you don't wanna wake up!
Everything is fucked
.Everybody sucks!
Hahaha! That's my "I'm pissed" song..

Teriyaki God!
Why listen to such vulgar music you may ask? Because the ending sounds like the intro to an Alt-J song, and I have an unhealthy obsession with Alt-J
So damn catchy - but I would imagine there is a circle in hell where you are required to sing this for karaoke.

Don't you mean a circle in heaven?

For all the pain, and all the sleepless nights,
For all the tears, and all the endless fights,
For all the cheating, and for all the times you,
Used me, fell through, weren't true, fuck you. (oh)
For all the times, that you pissed me off, (you pissed me of)
For all the times, you weren't man enough,
For all the times, that you dissed me,yeah,
Forgot me, fell through, weren't true, fuck you. (so fuck you)

Listening to the Skyrim theme song, Dragonborn (the trailer version), while doing a technical drawing project.
I feel like I am slaying dragons in the most manly way possible with each stroke of the mechanical pencil.
