I can explain why! I am a very sensitive person (with almost no self-confidence) and I have an extreme fear of people telling me that I am boring or lame and I should not speak to them. I am good at reading people, so I can tell if I am being a nuisance and they are not interested in what I have to say. It also depends if it is in an environment that I feel comfortable and safe in. For example, I won't ever go to a club alone if I am not with at least a friend who I feel safe with and who I can stick to like glue (which is why Splicer had to drag me to Victor's house the first time, because I didn't want to go)

If I am surrounded by people I feel comfortable with and trust, I tend to be more talkative but most of the times, I won't randomly walk up to someone and start talking to them (if I don't know them well enough) For me It is a trust thing, so If I build a friendship with someone and I know that I can discuss things like games, anime, furry books or movies with them, and they will be interested, I will always try and speak to them.
