Strangely (for me anyway) since the ex dumped me in Feb I find myself listening to a whole lot more alternative and metal specifically symphonic metal Nightwish being my favourite at the moment.
Revisiting some of my old posts (the necromancer in me at work again).
Strange how the last couple of years have changed me, I seem to be a totally different person these days to what I was even the past 5 years before.
This has also tremendously affected the types of music I enjoy. My flat mate can also be blamed for some of it though.
Mostly these days its the heavier side of rock and the lighter side of metal...

I listen to everything!!! except kwaito... that stuff annoys me...

but like legit...
I can go from Wizard of Oz to Bring Me the Horizon to Ellie Goulding to ACDC to Bruno Mars to Wicked to Lion King (The Movie OST) to Seether to a song called Ice Cream man which is all about running over children in a mini van... all in half an hour...

Kami rhi rhi Leddy gogo! (Or something) There's some interesting Kwaito Rap out there (Something I was taught when I was working at Steinmuller)

But yep, still mostly power metal, hard rock, very little punk, nothing that can be classified as "Djent", solo guitar work, all metal with clean to gruff singers and good guitars, I hate most collabs with rappers (sorry Linkin Park and sundry this includes you), SOME Slipknot, SOME Korn, ALL of Devin Townsend (grant me your children goddammit)

This list can go on forever

I said most and some. Ergo there will be a song that overlaps in what I would find acceptable.

Personally I really like my rock and more modern country, I also really love adult contemporary. I have been introduced to metal but im still getting the feel for that and getting into that vibe, sloooowwwwwwlly lol. But I do appreciate good music of any genre. but yes... I love rock and country. It's mah thing.

I have an interesting pile of music. on the top of the list I have Tchaikovsky, Adele... going down the list you would find Florence and the machine and Amy whinehouse and right at the bottom you would find Cradle of filth, and sleep
