Broken headphones

#1

Post by Dualsa »

So, my headphones are broken and suddenly it feels like I have absolutely NOTHING to do. I feel like I at least have to have them on my head when I'm at my desk so it feels wrong not having them. Music is becoming such an integral part of my life I don't think I can do without it.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Personally I prefer speakers to listen to music, but I know how you feel.
Music seems to make my day progress, and it feels like something is missing when I'm not listening to something. I think I've always worked / studied / relaxed while listening to music, so my mind seems to almost need it.

I'm exactly the opposite. I like to listen to some music every now and then, but when I need to focus on something (such as my writing, or when I'm reading) I need absolute silence.

I seldom use headphones cause I don't listen to music at university and at home I just use normal speakers. I do have music on almost constantly but that's mostly to drown out the stupid birds near me.

When I'm using my computer, I feel comfortable with my headphones on. They don't have to play music (though I do listen to music a lot), it just feels... awkward if I don't have them on.

They've also broken twice (the 'cups' broke off from the rest of the thing), but a little glue solved that :P

When I am home I wear headphones 95% of the time, I stay in a flat you see, and my neighbors are all in there late 60s to 80s so load music is a no-no :)

Word of advice, save up for some proper headphones like Sennheisers, not only do they sound better but they dont brake easily ,and if they do you have a 3 year guarantee :)

PS By good headphones I dont mean Beats by Dr Dray? or 50cent @#$!@, if its indorsed by a rapper stay 5 miles away....

Sennheisers aren't that durable, but good quality.

For speakers I would almost almost only use Genelec or Funktion One
