Jee I have been single for a few years now. My social life kind of broke down when I started working in a town full of scurwy ppl [Avarage pregnancy age 14 o.O]. Sins then I have moved to a diffrent town but now kind of lack the confidance sins I have become a furry lifestiler.

I am not implying anything. It just seems that no matter what a girl feels for me she will reject me for the fact that I'm a furry. Don't care if I find true love with a non-furry, as long as she loves me for me and I love her for her. But the odds are that a furry will accept me for me the majority of the time.

Rejecting someone because they are a furry is like rejecting someone because they like Star-Trek or they are an anime fan. Considering this, do you think they really loved you if they were willing to drop you over something so mundane? Also, when in the relationship, and how, did you decide to drop the 'F-bomb' on them?

If on day 2 you say to them, "I like teh animals. I am furry, and want to be part man part beast. Rwar! ._. "

Then you should probably forgive them for having run for the hills. Obviously I made that example as ridiculous and offensive as possible, but the point still stands.
I remember when I first discovered the fandom, looked it up on wikipedia and found that there was a whole subsection on sexual aspects of the fandom and I was like "whoa :O ." Couple that with readings about furry politics and fiascos like that whole 'burnt furs' thing and I was like 'these people are crazy.' Thankfully curiosity got the better of me and I went in as a human. That was September 2008, and here I am today!

Um... it sounds like you need to practise how you describe the furry fandom to people. Also, do they really even need to know? I mean if they get to know you for a long time sure but at that point they will probably also be a lot more open to anything you like.

Um, I suspect you do have an answer for it: people generally don't make sweeping 'probably never' statements for no reason, but I respect your privacy.

I am glad you think we are awesome though! You have been very complimentary since you joined, but do keep in mind that ZAFur is a relatively tiny community of furs, and that furs are just people and so you do get some good ones and bad ones of course!

I would like to think though that furries do have a relatively high proportion of nice people relative to the general population. Certainly, most furries are a little weird. How can you not be when you're part of a fandom whose favourite fantasy is to be an anthropomorphic being in real life? Nice + weird = awesome? Maybe. xP

yesterday, i entered the first relationship of my life, I thought it would never happen, but he's been right there, the whole time, and I didnt notice until recently *facepalm*

I recently broke up with my bf. I'm wondering if i did the right thing there though :'(. I didn't believe that he loved me anymore, but now i'm wondering if i was wrong. As for my good friend flaxney, you are right, furs are awesome ppl. I've only known bout za furs for bout 6 or so months, been a fur for almost 4 to 5 years though. Lol. Sad, very sad, i know. I'm hoping that i get to meet you all soon. Ryall, you one of them i've met gryph, polar bearion, kodey, silver dragon, rakuen and steed. Great guys and i miss hanging out with them. I answered "no, not looking". I don't think i'm ready to be in a relationship, if i ever will be. I'm just tired of being hurt and rejected all the time by the one i love.
