Vox and Ryall's Colour Dilemma
Good morning ladies and gents, and Happy Easter!
The more astute of you will have noticed, that my location has changed from Western Cape to Gauteng. Yes, that's right, I have moved up to Johannesburg to be with VoxLupus, as our luxury apartment nears completion on 25 April. Currently, we are staying with VoxLupus's parents while we wait for our apartment to be completed. As our apartment nears completion however, it seems Vox and I have some differing ideas about the interior design of our majestic abode, and this has boiled over into somewhat of a tiff.
I - the hyena gifted at all things in life (praise be to God, who entrusted me with such gifts) - have discerned that our home interior should be painted regal yellow, and follow a classy Victorian theme. It will be like a mini-homage to Buckingham palace. That stuff never goes out of style. Dearest, sweetest, VoxLupus on the other hand - bless his soul - being the vivacious skank that he is, has decided that the apartment should be painted fuchsia pink, with Japanese decor: like some kind of filthy geisha house!
For those of you idiotic philistines who don't know what regal yellow and fuchsia pink are, Ryall has got you covered:
Now, I have overlooked VoxLupus's weeaboo weakness for many years, but I cannot abide this childish fantasy of his any longer. This insolence has escalated to intolerable levels. The other day, VoxLupus started arguing with me over this matter at the dinner table, in front of his parents. Things got heated, and he decided to make a personal attack on me by telling his parents that I stick bananas in my underpants every day to make my crotch look bigger, which of course is not true. I responded by telling his parents that their son likes to have his hands and feet bound with pink bows, and to be called, "Kitty," before I lance him in the butt. His parents should be proud.
Right now, I have half a mind to sell my share of the house to some repugnant stranger, and half a mind to do half the house in yellow and the other half - like the toilet and cupboards - in pink.
The fact of the matter is, I contributed more to the house; I have painstakingly put together furnishing books to help him try visualize my masterpiece; I am 3 months older than VoxLupus; and I found this apartment in the first place, so it should be me who has the final say in the event of a dispute. But no, VoxLupus refuses to see reason, and so I have turned to you - the lesser furs of ZAFur - to try help these arch furs come to a sensible agreement.
Which colour scheme, and furnishing theme should we go with: Regal yellow with Victorian furnishings, or fuchsia pink with Japanese furnishings?
Thank you!

I think it should be bright pink and filled it with as many tawdry nicknacks as possible just to annoy Ryall.

It should go without saying that Japanese gets my vote. VoxLupus has much better taste than you, mister yellow belly.

Leeward and Rakuen, how dare both of you! I thought you two would be the voices of reason, but truly, you are both lost.
Also, Rakuen and Leeward agree with each other? Lol.
I see Cape Fox is at least somewhat intelligent.

If your home isn't filled wall to wall with glowing dildos of differing colour, size and pattern I'll be disappointed. In this day and age it is important to blatantly show everyone your tastes and life-style choices, even if they don't care.

They have to be in a display case or else you have to constantly dust them off.Tigris Astartes wrote: ↑Sun Apr 01, 2018 10:24 am If your home isn't filled wall to wall with glowing dildos of differing colour, size and pattern I'll be disappointed. Alternating stripes perhaps? Or spots? Tiiiiiny dots? Well, whatever you go for, I feel the most important part of any home is a calendar. A BIG calendar. That displays the date prominently. And it should be cyan. That way you can have an artistic CMY(K) theme to your house which will bring everything together.

Sudan has been spending too much time in the office supplies store staring at toner and day planners.

Re: Vox and Ryall's Colour Dilemma
Reminds me of the time I replied to a xouples facebook post:
Them
"Help me settle an argument. Toilet paper clockwise or counterclockwise?"
Me
"If you're arguing about the orientation of the toiletpaper roll, I'd suggest seeing a Councillor."
When I started reading, I felf Fuchsia was the right choice and wanted to reccomend it, So I'm siding with Vox, Mr. Banana pants.
though if it bothers you thar much, why not go with a more african theme as a compromise? Leopard print with yellow background and black and fuchsia rosettes?
Happy April Fools Ryal!
sorry for being late...

Re: Vox and Ryall's Colour Dilemma
I painted my room and office walls a light peach.
I picked this because of the blinds, tiles and wooden floors.
Everything in the house came with allot of red-ish colors.
I guess the idea is your not actually supposed to notice the walls and the paint must not color the whole room when a normal light is on?

Re: Vox and Ryall's Colour Dilemma
Thanks Splicer. The point of this April Fool's joke was I picked hideous colours and decor as made-up ideas for Vox and I. We actually happily decided on the colours in August last year.Splicer-Fox wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 2:42 pm I painted my room and office walls a light peach.

I also don't use bananas, and Vox doesn't get tied up or called 'Kitty.'
