No, the vauxhall badge is intentional.

Hahahahaha! Ok! Sorry... The only place I saw Vauxhaull badges in SA was when they replaced the panels with oversee parts... Where an Opel is a Vauxhaull...

Looks cool man! I especially like the Datson! My Great grandfather had one like that! Just a bakkie and WAAAAYYY older... The shape looks the same... My grandad uses it from time to time...

Also, that sticker is AWESOME!

NECRO THREAD hahaha

So, I'm so stoked since my kombi is nearing completion. Sorted the overheating issue, took the sump off, welded it, resprayed it and put it back on so now Bessie won't mark her spots anymore.

Just still need to sort this horrid thing that happens whilst driving, it constantly feels as if the front wheels are buckling off. I'm guessing it has to do with the drag link not being set properly or maybe worn tie rod ends after that bus stood for over 20 years.

Oh yeah, and I'm finally moving my cars into their own garages tomorrow!!! Can't freakin wait!!!!

My mate's father would murder you for that comment, he's a hardcore Landy fan. He's got a Series 1 (former army vehicle) and an old Defender, both in working condition. Landies are known to "mark their territory" though so I'll give you that, but they do keep working with proper maintenance.

I'll go with Adagio on this one. Have seen many landies die on trips, most recently a gearbox that was stuck in third (Stuck as in STUCK) about 150km into the bush.

Isuzu on the other hand.. They are indestructible :D that said, you can fix a land rover with duct tape and wire. :P

I won't lie, they've had a few breakdowns... but he doesn't like to admit it. :P

I see your Isuzu and raise you a Toyota. Now those are indestructible. I was at a Land Rover show once and we were watching the offroad competition and a Landy got stuck... that's what the Hilux on standby was for!

T2 is just an amazing vehicle, goodluck getting mine.

She is the first car I resurrected myself, brought her back from the dead.
Skimmed head, cleaned valves, redid carb, fixed bogie chords, cleaned the fuel tank, fixed the sump, fixed the cross member, did the timing, got a new exhaust, repaired the front drag link ball joints, resprayed, had the transmission redone(Original VW Automatic), had the radiator redone and fixed the overheating issues.

I saved the bus from being chopped up at a junkyard, got her in a very good condition for a vehicle that has been standing from estimated 1989. Only issue is she doesn't exactly have papers, hence the lack of number plates. But I'm working around that, she is going for police clearance in June hopefully.

I can go on all night and day about my VW's, quite proud of them.

Can I show a picture of a green McLaren 650S that I saw in the wild in Texas? Or is this only for cars that the person owns?

Don't know, don't care.

My dad used to have one of these: same model, same year, same colour.
1957 Rover 105, powder blue.

A McLaren in the wild is pretty usual, and I don't want a curse to befall me...

I also saw two really nice R6's.
One had a custom paint job. The other one was... something else.
Chrome galore, extended swingarm, freaking NOS bottle.

The engine on it sounded magnificent - super throaty.

Utterly pointless in the US, though. Get caught going 20+ mph over the very low speed limits, and you are going to end up in a lot of trouble.
