New conservation research

#1

Post by Rakuen Growlithe »

On TV (same programme as my animal/human topic) they were talking about a new conservation project. In order to study how animals interact with their environment some conservationists captured a bunch of kudu (maybe? Can't remember exactly what buck), cut them open and implanted a bunch of monitors. They can now read the body temp., brain temp., temp. on each side of the buck (see how they stand in the sun), track them by radio collar and measure the amount of muscle activity in their legs.

Just hope they don't get eaten. Expensive waste of equipment then.
