The Importance of Understanding the Nature of Science

This is a rather good essay about why it is important to understand how science works, and it explains how science works as well. It also highlights how misconceptions about science can prevent acceptance of science. It's a good idea to read, both because as society modernises science becomes more important and because the tools of science can be applied to fields where it isn't usually used.
