Furry comics reviews

Not sure where it put this?
So I put it in writing club.
[edit]Mod note: Perfect[/edit]

I have Dog days of summer. (IT IS NOT yiff O.K! but there is nudity R16)

Did not enjoy it to much because it is a Romance/Drama between two gays.
I don't get Romance/Dramas and I can't relate too gays.
Quality of the art and writhing is good though.

-½ Romance/Drama :|
+1 for art
+1 good writing
+1 Furrys!
:D
= 2½ / 5

I also acquired the first volume of Heathen City.

DO NOT BELIEVE the lies! :x
It does have: violence, dark storyline(good one too), guns, grenades, blood, adventure, action, and all the good stuff. :)
BUT it is a gay yiff in the end.
Basically – All the Gangsters, Heroes and Villains are all gay perverts. :?
It has got a very good(dark) storyline but there is a extreme scene every 5 pages(they make it part of the story line though).
IMAGINE 'Soot em Up' but with a serious storyline and everyone is gay... and eager.

-1 WTF!
-1 OMG! :o
-1 Lies
:x
+1 story
+½ average art
+½ average writing
+1 Action Adventure
+1 Furrys!
:D
= 1/5
O.K it is worth a 2/5
The comic is not based on yiff but there is a lot of it.

I am reading the manga/comic Two Kinds.

It is O.K. So far. The art is not amazing writing and story is a bit bland but I know you sometimes need to give it a bit time to get good. A bunch of humans and anthromorphs going on a adventure. It has that childish animé feel to it where: there is a girl and boy, and a lot of jokes based on awkwardness  . It is 'so far' very similar to the animé ToLove ru. The furrys walk around naked but there is no nudity(everything is covered by fur PG 13).

Why is it so hard to get clean furry comics?
Anyway has anyone else read furry comics?
I would like to read your reviews and opinions (feel free to disagree with me as much as you like).

Firstly, sorry about hacking your thread a little.

We cannot condone illegally obtaining materials, especially materials that people rely on for their bread and butter.

If you go to some websites and buy comics and manga, you are supporting the artists, and helping them put food on their plates.

But, i like the reviews.

Maybe you want to do some better review of the gay/yiff comics in the yiff section, rather than the open boards (just PM and i'll give you access to them).

I would like to buy my own copy of Dog days of summer i have read it myself and it's really good.

For those that wonder where to find comics ... anything that Diamond Comic Distributors distributes can be found in SA easily, as the local comic shops have standing orders with them, and since it arrives with their normal shipment you don't really pay a delivery fee. That's how I got my DDoS, Blotch managed to get it into Diamond's Previews. Nordgard may be available there too, I haven't checked yet. I used to go to Outer Limits in Melville, but these days I buy from Cosmic Comics in Blackheath. I have a good relationship with the owner, and he does make some effort to find what you want.

For the non-Diamond stuff, you will have to go to either Rabbit Valley or Sofawolf or a similar distributor. Rabbit Valley has always treated me well, but since they are in the US shipping charges can get quite high. Order in bulk.

So you say normal comic shops like the ones in Bright Water should have some furry comics :o ? That is news to me! Thanks for the info :D !

Outer Limits in Melville

Got it Thanks :D !

*sigh* I am sorry guys.
I gave those two comics really bad ratings.
I gave Heathen City a another chance and I think it OK. ;)

I would like to read the new releases of Heathen City to see the conspiracy unfolds. (looks like Hell literately broke loose in the newest novel). It seems like a large part of the story is based on how sex, lust and adultery is destroying or has destroyed their lives.

There is some bad writhing involved that probably could not be avoided for the stories sake.
Like the guy asks the other why he prostitutes himself so much and why does he not sleep with this other person whom he obviously loves – All the while yiffing the person whom is asking.

Still need to give DogDays a another chance but Romance is NOT my thing. Sorry. :P

I have been reading Furthia High and it is awesome.
http://furthiahigh.concessioncomic.com/
The art style is mediocre BUT the story is unbelievably good.
I love it and cant wait for the next pages.
It is almost scary how much you can relate to it. :?

I'll stop creating scores for comics from now on. I apologise for making anyone upset.

I love Furthia High! :D
I'll write in more detail about it later.

Seems like yiff in comics put you off? I wouldn't score it badly because of that personally ;3

I've read through a lot of the old Genus stuff and found them very hit or miss because it's just a group of random artists every month. Some interesting stories.

Then I've read all of James Hardiman's Skunkworks stuff. I really love his art to pieces! Lori, Onyx and Natasha are three of the most attractive furry chicks around...plus Onyx is adorable. Lots of yiff though. Also Des' By The Tail is also very good, she's good friends with Jim.

On a more serious note We3 is brilliant in so many ways. I definitely recommend it.

That’s why I am apologising.
I got freaked out by the yiff in heathen city because I was not expecting it.
Although Heathen City's story contains a lot of yiff it still has a good story.
And the yiff is actually part of it.(It is not like they stop the story so they can have a scene).

I'll try to be more open minded about furry comics in the future.
I was just dissapionted on what Heathen City turnd out to be.
BUT I am cool whith that now.
Yiff does not bother me but vulgar yiff does.

I have also acquired a ton of this Genus while surfing the Caribbean for rum.
Haven’t opened them jet.

Nah... cant be to harsh, to spicific maybe...

*LOL*

I Agree whith your reviews, cant they make more clean, straight comics??

I Like reading them, but i cant relate to any of them!

I Am reading Furthina High now, Very funny!!

Keep up the good work!

PS Reviews is more like your oppinion, so you cant go wrong, if somebody disagree's with you, you were'nt to harsh, they don't see it from your prospective....
