The Blade of Justice part 1

[THE CORINTHIAN]

Okay, so here is something that I've been working on. Its not finished yet, BUT any comments or suggestions are welcome. I'm still looking for a few heroes & villains if any one can please help.

The Blade of Justice

During the war between Heaven & Hell. A sward was forged from God's pure wrath & given to His most trusted angel. The sword gave the user increased strength, agility & a sixth sense bestused in battle.

The sword had two other abilities. It enhanced the users skills & natural abilities. The swords second ability was that when the enemy was destroyed its spirit would be absorbed by the blade & in doing so increasing the swords power.

With the sward on their side Heaven won the war. But after absorbing the spirits of over one hundred billion demons, the swords energy was turned dark. Too dark for any angel to touch without being destroyed, But still too full of holy wrath for any demon to touch either.

So the sword was placed in between the border of Heaven & Hell, then bound into place with chains forged in both Heaven & Hell. There it was to remain for all eternity, but some times an eternity doesn't always last forever.........

The Kingdom of Corinth, founded by the three exalted kinghts of legend Leo, Draco & Scorpios. In its capital, the great city of Manticore. It was a time of tremendous celebration for the house of Chimera, because two twin cubs were born on that Summer night.

Six years later. The two brothers James & Jonathan already started to show signs of being true Chimeras. With a strong pare of dragon wings each & well defined feline features, leopard or jaguar maybe tiger, only time would tell. As for the third or forth part to make them true Chimeras to each his own.

They were inseparable with Jonathan the cautious one & James the adventurous one, but James could always convince Jonathan to do almost anything. They were always up to some sort of mischief, like making a huge mess in the kitchen while trying to make pancakes for breakfast. Or sneaking into the armory to look at the swards, shields, spears & amour.

Like most twins they also have a strong psychic bond. Just one look & they would know what the each other wanted. They sometimes shared the same dreams & if one of them was having a nightmare the other could jump in as hero & save the day. They were separated only once at the busy market & through there bond they were able to find each other easily.

On the night of the full moon one week before their ninth birthday James convinced Jonathan to sneak out & go fishing at sapphire lake. Although they couldn't fly yet, they were able to easily stalk silently through their house & out the back door. They reached the lake just as the moon was rising above it. A shooting star streaked across the sky, that is when they made the same wish to always be together. As the full moon glittered over the lake & the millions of stars sparkled above, things seamed like paradise to the two of them.

Then tragedy, an immense fire raged through their family home killing all except for the two cubs that were found asleep out at the lake. No one knows who started the fire or why. But the one thing everyone can agree on is that if James & Jonathan didn't sneak out that night, they would have shared the same fate as everyone else.

They were sent to go & live in the country with Cougar their grandmother, an ecomancer & a powerful healer, & their great uncle Silver-Wing an old gryphon that has fought & served as a general in many wars.

Their grandmother's house was on the border of, The Valley of Eternal Spring & The Black Moon Forest. The Valley of Eternal Spring got its name from the millions of flowers that bloom there all year round, from the hottest day in Summer with dark red Phoenix flowers to the coldest day in winter with ice-blue Frost flowers.

The Black Moon Forest got its name from the fact that it is so dark in there that even on the brightest & sunniest day the sun would look like the moon on a dim night. Then at night even the full moon would look like a black silhouette & not one the star could shine through either. The forest is filled with colossal Ghost Wood trees, with charcoal gray bark & ash gray leaves. At the center of The Black Moon Forest there are beautiful but deadly Death Bloom flowers.

Their great uncle Silver-Wing fetched them & on their journey he told them stories of his adventures when he was young, because the cubs had not learned to fly yet the journey was three days on foot. It was their birthday when they reached their grandmother's house. The air was was filled with the soft sweet smell from flowers in the valley & the delicious baked goods their grandmother was making. She made a huge Milk Tart, a triple layer chocolate cake with a rich caramel topping & had placed a tray of ginger biscuits in the oven just as they arrived.

The birthday party was a small but happy one, attended only by their close friends & neighbors. Their friends & neighbors gave them gifts of swards, shields, spears,battle axes, training amour & a chest filled with all the different types of Draconium. As for the gifts from their grandmother & uncle, Cougar & Silver-Wing made a vow to teach James & Jonathan every thing that they know, from ecomancing & healing too combat, how to fly & the secrets of how to use Draconium.

Eight & a half years later, James & Jonathan have grown up to be two handsome young men, with their full chimera treats at hand. James the strong tiger like one with cobra venom in his claws, plus all the treats of a wolf, & Jonathan the agile jaguar like one with ability to change color & blend in like chameleon, plus all the treats of an otter.

Both with supreme dragon sight, strength & the ability to use their strong dragon wings to fly at great speeds, far faster than any gryphon could. But still thankful for their teacher Silver-Wing who tough them how to fly.
