A Poem for Punk-Fox

Today is the one month anniversary of our meeting, so I thought I should do something special for my special Fox.
When I sat down to think about what I should write, thoughts of our possible future kept popping up, thoughts of what might happen when I finally manage to make it to Johannesburg, so that’s what I decided to use.
This one is for you, Punk. Hope you’ll like it.

What may Become

I see her words and I see her mind
I feel her caring thoughts through space and time
I feel the joy of knowing she is mine
A simple thought, a simple sign

And I wonder…
What may Become?

I have a vision, a sight impending
Of our long-awaited night embracing
To see her before me, to hold her hand
I’d sacrifice everything, right where I stand

And I wonder…
What may Become?

I see us together, with all our furry friends
Braaing and joking and drinking to no ends
The shadows grow long, the night gets darker
We chase away the gloom with a crate of Castle Lager.

And I wonder…
What may Become?

I see us together, bound closely by heart
Me with my words and her with her art
I wish I could see her as she reads this right now
But all I can say is this is only the start.

I love you, Punk. The answer is clear
The answer to the question so hopeful, so near

I love you too, Punk. Hearing I made you happy always gives me such a boost. And yes, Terror. I have a stupid grin stuck on my face too, and I think it'll stay right there for the rest of the day!
