thread for poetry

Heya furs!

I noticed there was no particular thread for poetry O_o ...

I don't know what i'm doing

here goes nothing....


since I started the thread, here is a poem I wrote while walking to my transport to school and I saw my (so called) best friend to busy on BBM to greet me
(No it goes deeper the *so called* is not based on him not greeting me once)

The social network.

Cursed be that wreched creation
Turning people into mindless drones
Shockwaves sent through the nation
Constantly glued to their phones

When the red light flickering slowly
The whole population grows lonely
On the display ''low battery''
Followed by a loud clattering

Social lives lay in ruins
Blind dates doesent show
Happy face turns to silent sob
Marriage ruiend affair gone

Social networks all alike
Could be possitive when used right
The sad truth lies in wait
Stalking its prey in the dim light

When the world grows to a quite place
Fuled by hate and empty of love
Will BBM feel any sorrow

Will facebook help to borrow
The faith to save this empty cave
That once thrived of love.

if any spelling mistakes are found, help me illiminate them ( I suck at spelling... )

There's no particular thread for poetry because there's this entire sub-forum for any sort of literature. There's no need to clump everything together, especially when people will mostly be posting their own work and desire feedback on the pieces they spent time creating. It becomes very difficult, and messy, to give feedback when everything is all in the same thread.

Well for Adagio's poem

not bad , unfort i forgot what makes a good poem when i left matric but its sounds good to my ear and touches apon my veiws too(burn wretched hellspawn creation that is networking!)

so gets my vote for being good

(brother based his matric art project on making blackberries seems as evil as possible)
