As i sit in this Darkness.
I see a light in the distance.
I can hear Angelic voices.
They call to me, asking me to stop my reluctance.
I feel like I'm being held back.
The depression holds onto me.
I feel the darkness creep in closer.

What are those voices?
Who is calling me to the light?
How can i remove this Darkness from my soul?

"Are you coming?" they say.
Never the less, i stay.
"We wont hurt you."
As i sit in this Darkness, a caring paw reaches in for me.
I reluctantly take it.
They pull me into the light.
And I realize, I am not in the Darkness, the Darkness is within me.

I say to the face that pulled me out.
"I am strong, because I have been weak.
I am not afraid, because I have felt fear.
I am not angry, because I have been anger.
I am untouchable, because I have been hurt.
My heart is a stone, unbreakable by a normal touch.
I was alone, but now I have friends."

I hear voices speak back to me.
"We are Furs and we welcome you to our group.
We will love you through your darkest days.
We will hold your claw through anything you encounter.
We will fight by your side and never leave.
We are all friends and if not a family."

I have overcome the Darkness.
I have found true friends.
I can only thank the Fandom for all of this.

-pokes- don't contradict me. And yes, it is correct. As for helping me? They stopped me from doing some hecticly stupid things. They helped me through the darkest days of my life. If it wasn't for the fandom, i wouldn't be alive today or the person i am today. I'm hoping that the SA furs can be what my overseas furiends have been to me, not just friends, but a family. Brothers.
