I recently finished The Silent Patient and The Man Who Spoke Snakish. Both very different and equally as good! I'm now a few chapters into Where The Crawdads Sing, but I'm not digging it too much as of yet.

I tried getting through them a few years ago, but just couldn't make my way through The Order of the Phoenix without struggling to stay awake That's where I stopped, although I'd love to get back into them again. Such an immersive world.

I'm about half way through the Chamber of Secrets now.
I'm loving it! Though... I wouldn't say the writing a THAT good.

Ander is amazing. I need to finish it myself, I've been hoping for a physical release.
Have you still not had any luck finding a publisher, Contrast?

Nope, not yet. In the time I've been struggling I've actually managed to finish two whole new manuscripts. When I'm done with the final draft of the last one, I'm gonna print out all three and send them to some South African publishers together. I wrote a human version of Ander for this because I can't get the anthro version accepted anywhere, no matter how hard I try. If Ander gets refused again, I'm officially out of ideas. I guess I'll just put it back on the internet for people to read for free, in that case.

Have you tried any furry publishers in the US?

Yeah, I have. All of them rejected me. Some of them aren't accepting any new manuscripts, some say it's too long, others just gave me a general rejection letter without saying why. Some just never got back to me at all.

I have had some contact with a fairly well-known writer in the fandom, Tempe O'Kun. If you'd like, I could get him in touch with you. I'm sure he might have some good suggestions on how to proceed.
